It's time. One week before the season starts.

1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,

Go!

Please don't add a load of qualifiers to your predictions (if club X signed player Y then I think this...).

I just want your predictions of top six given what we all know now.

Once the season starts then no further "predictions" will be eligible for the prize.

people may laugh at me but I honestly think Villa may break into the top 6, yes they have lost there most important and best player but they’ve done some quality business in this window. I still see arsenal as very weak, I think wether Kane stays or not will depend on how high spurs can finish. I can’t see past city and possibly Chelsea this season as they have the 2 strongest teams in the league especially now Chelsea are finally getting there missing piece Of the puzzle that they needed which is a striker. Liverpool are relying on there front 3 to bail them out as always but there not going to always be on form… I don’t think VVD will come back and be the player he use to be. He got bullied in one of there friendly the other day. If we sign a CDM this summer then I think we can get 2nd wish a push… this is going to be one of the tightest and toughest seasons.

Quite telling that most are predicting 3rd for us. Think that needs to be remembered come the end of the season - I think the main thing this season is that we look like title challengers, even if we do end up down in 3rd/4th

City
Liverpool
Chelsea
United

Tottenham
Arsenal

Leicester implosion. Rodgers times up I think

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. United
(I think 2nd to 4th will be close and then a bit of a gap to 5th)

Not sure but I’ll say Utd will finish ahead of Chelsea again because I fundamentally disagree with the idea they have a better team than us. I’ll go positive and say:

1: Utd
2: City
3: Chelsea
4: Liverpool
5: Leicester
6: Spurs

1 Liverpool
2 Man City
3 Man United
4 Chelsea
5 Tottenham
6 Leicester

1) City
2) United
3) Chelsea
4) Liverpool
5) Tottenham
6) Leicester

1. United
2. City
3. Chelsea.
4. Arsenal
5. Liverpool
6. Spurs

1) spurs
2) chelsea
3) liverpool
4) united
5) city
6) leicester

1. City
2. United
3. Chelsea
4. Liverpool
5. Leicester
6. Villa

Depends on transfer business yet to happen. Where Kane goes, if Lukaku goes to Chelsea etc.

Why do so many have us in 4th? Is that just symptomatic of the negativity in this place?

Probably because the other three have proven they can hold their nerve with the silverware on the line.

City
Chelsea
Utd
Liverpool
Arsenal
Leicester

(Perhaps with a slight Arsenal bias admittedly).

Chelsea didn't show a lot of nerve when losing the cup final to Leicester. Very fortunate to finish in the top 4 also, with that bottle job against Villa. Good old Spurs doing you a favour there.

I expect a two horse race between City and Chelsea this year, with a lot of bunching up between 3rd and 7th. City to make it 4 titles in 5 years.

And that's all irrelevant now because we did hold our nerve in the biggest club game there is.

Symptomatic of 8 years of pain and post Fergie pessimism, with a bit of Moyes Syndrome, Van Gaal Disorder, and Congenital Jose Disease.
Doesn't help that many of their bodies are rejecting the Ole Gunnar antidote. I fear many of them see it as merely a placebo effect and have terminal expectations after every season, or game for that matter.

For further examination and peer review of this in real time and see it in full effect, even for something as simple as a pre-season friendly, tune in for the show in under 2 hours time.

How does winning the champions League make the fact that you nearly bottled top four last year irrelevant, in a thread that's discussing Premier League standings next season?

2 Chelsea
3 United

They won the Champions League while we lost the Europa League final after a really ordinary performance. I put United 4th but said it would be tight between us, Liverpool (who we have seen win the Champions League and be pretty much the most dominant champions ever within the last couple of years) and Chelsea (who were massively improved after Tuchel took over and just won the Champions League).
