They were both ridiculously dangerous, I don't really get how you keep arguing that Kane's was more dangerous and could've resulted in a bad injury if Robertsons foot was planted when Robertson on Emerson Royal was exactly the same; the fouled players foot was airborne and it also could've been a leg breaker if his foot was planted.

They are definitely both dangerous, but one was a swipe from standing next to the opponent whereas the other was a slide tackle at the end of a ten yard sprint. One has has the full force of a professional footballers kick (which is admittedly a lot) whereas the other has the entirety of a players body weight travelling at speed (which is far more).

It’s simple physics. It’s why headers are generally far more powerful when you run on to them than those from a standing jump.

This from Robertson was last year and didn't even get a card or reviewed by VAR. Guy is a twat. The challenge on Sunday could have broken a leg if the standing leg was planted, it was disgusting.

Look at where the Spurs player is when he starts his motion. He's not between the ball and Robetson. He turns to block Robertson or one may say to shield the ball.

Emerson was hurt so bad he already had his arm in the air calling for a foul. Sure that was some hard kick. Too fair, at least he didn't roll around as if he was shot.

Yes the player turns and shields/blocks the ball and then Robertson gives him a boot. I've seen the replays, Klopp & Robertson have no problem with the red. Every pundit reckons it's a red all day long.

Liverpool fans don't even have a problem with this and it's now Wednesday. Why is this your hill to die on?
