There was contact on Jesus before he went down though, its the kind of penalty shout that would have been given if it had have been Liverpool instead of Arsenal like the Jota one against Newcastle.
I'm not having your conspiracies. The contact was minimal and the dive was far too outrageous to be given.

Garbage from palace this. Straight forward win for Arsenal, surely Palace should be done with Hodgson now and just sack him.

Really want us to sign Eze. Someone will sign him soon and all the other big clubs will be left asking ‘why did none of us get this guy whose been right under our nose?’. He’s a brilliant player, and I’d love for him to be our #10 from next season.

Cruise for Arsenal. Must be nice to have games like that.

Martinelli sealing finishing Palace off with 2 Rashfordesqe finishes.

Is that it for Roy, and will Steve Cooper be in before their next game?

Palace might just be a relegation side soon enough. Olise and eze would be excellent pick ups in that scenario.

Reckon you're in trouble? Any signings on the horizon? You always seem to have loads of players that should have been sold two seasons earlier.

We look much better without Rice and Havertz tbh
Somehow we have managed to blow 200m and get worse. Arteta said we need to nail this last window and he fecked it up big time. Still can't believe we went for Havertz.
(Rice is a really good player but does not fit the system well yet)

No I think we have enough, only owing to the points deductions for others and 3 poor teams coming up. In any other season we’d be bang in trouble.

How does #10 work with Bruno?

Are you serious? Rice has been the buy of the season. We are much better defensively with him. Havertz was a vanity buy by Arteta.

Rice is nowhere near buy of the season. It's all English media hype. We're actually worse defensively than this time last year

Five Goals from six shots on target is fairly impressive from Arsenal today.
I’m pleased Martinelli got his brace as he in particular hasn’t been able to replicate his form from last year. His output has been way off. Still think we need to bring in a striker, but if our key players get their shooting boots back we’ll look much better.

Rice has been a good signing IMO, problem is Havertz hasn’t worked. I think in the long run Rice will be worth the big money, but don’t think Havertz will.

It helps a lot when the other team doesn't have a goalkeeper... Onana isn't that bad if this guy was the alternative.

Think it’s about time we had a discussion about whether it’s the right time to move on, he’ll be 30 by the start of next season which means this summer is probably the last chance we’ll have to get a decent fee for him, given his gradual loss of form it might be time to move on.

Woy seriously needs to retire and enjoy the twilight years of his life. Freezing his arse off, getting abuse from the fans is no way to live now.

How on earth did we manage to lose 1-0 to this team
How did they beat City, think midweek game in cup was final straw for the fans, the team was still motivated earlier in the season, think that has gone and Roy cut a really sad picture looking at the fans flag at the end of the game.

Also wasn't the blocker in an offside position, in which case....

"Offside offence

interfering with an opponent by

: preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent's line of vision or challenging an opponent for the ball or clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or..."
I thought about the possibility of offside by interference, but did the ball on goal not come from an angle that was not in the line of sight through the Arsenal player?

Where I come down on this one is that it was a foul by the Arsenal player, but it falls short of stonewall stuff. One could reasonably look at it either way.

Ivan Toney's return being covered as though he's coming back from an injury and he didn't make a million bets (including on his own team to lose) is a bit strange.
