Liverpool with a soft red card gift, who’d have thought.

I think Pawson gave Young the 2nd yellow with the Kovacic controversy at the back of his mind.

Silly challenge from Young all the same

Well, giving yellows to Everton for nothing.
First one was harsh, can't complain about the second one though. Little point in bother to watch the rest of the game. Other thread is right, may as well just give Liverpool the points every year and not bother playing.

Stupidity from Young. It's a yellow all day long.

Everton will have to go 6 at the back, 3 holding midfielders and a Candyman on stilts with hand grenades.

This might be controversial. Do you think the bigger you make the grounds it just means you get more people in who do not contribute to the atmosphere.
Nail on head.

It's not just the groundsize though, the clubs have been targeting unique visitor fans for years. It's a choice between a local with a season ticket who might buy a beer and a pie versus a Scandinavian or continental visitor who comes once a year and spends 300 quid or more.

Filling the ground with 15,000 of these types of fan is the reason the big clubs have a diminishing atmosphere.

If you want a traditional match experience where most of the people around you are pissed up in the pub before the game starts and act with a riotous fever for all 90 minutes you need to drop a league or two.

No arguments on the 2nd yellow, but not pulling his cards out for Tsimikas isn’t equal reffing

It’s a bit embarrassing this atmosphere. You hear some jeering then you can hear the sound drop.

Feel like this midfield of Liverpool lacks chemistry. They all doing their own thing without operating as a unit. Could say the same about the attack as well.

If not for that red card, I legit would have never noticed Ashley Young has moved to Everton.

I don't know what Rio is smoking here. Even I knew it was going over as soon as Szobosly hit it!

And then he doubles down and says he doesn't think Pickford is getting that if it's on target, as the slow motion replay shows Pickford causally pulling his hand away directly under the flight of the ball as he knows it's well over!!

Thought so as well. Especially considering how close in time and severity it was to Young's first yellow.
