The issue I have with IPTV is it’s an inferior product vs when HD card sharing used to work. Maybe it’s improving though?
someone also mentioned decoding European premium channels...didn’t realise that was possible but presumably that full HD.
As has been said it is getting better all the time but the biggest issue is people want to pay a fraction of the full cost for something then complain when it isn’t
exactly the same in terms of quality/reliability.
The product will always be inferior to an extent, as any mirror/copy is.
It’s also startling how many people don’t know about VPNs etc. I’m well removed from using SopCast on my uni laptop but to get the best out of it people need to do a little reading into it.
How would you even pay £100+ a month for sport?
Full price BT sports as a month pass is £25, and Sky sports is £33.99.
So that's less than £60 going that route?!
People seem to include the cost of their Sky tv in general into the conversation.
When I lived with my mother years back we had Sky & the issue in itself wasn’t the Sports Package it was that you had to have other packages as standard.
I don’t know if it’s changed or not but you couldn’t just get Sky & have only sports channels.
It was sold in sets, Entertainment, Kids, Movies, Sport but you couldn’t actually just have one without tethering it to others.
Maybe it’s different now but I think that’s why people give the whole value not just the package value.
