Mangala was impressive, you have two monsters in defence. Your main worry is Toure getting too tired and poor defensively.

A midfield triangle of Fernando-Fernandinho-Toure should solve that problem

Kompany's best game for about 2 years, City in general stepped it up and despite having all the possession in the world, rarely ever trouble Courtois. Aguero came closest before Lamps did the damage.

I would have taken a draw 60 mins in, disappointed we couldn't hold on, but we've now got arguably the two toughest fixtures out the way (Everton and City away), 4 points from 6, i'll take it.

If city play with that intensity i every match from here on then they'll win the title. No other team is gonna cope with that amount of pressure. Chelsea were really lucky to get out of that one with a point and that was mainly down to City getting a red because before that they offered very little if anything but clearances and blocked shots to the match. Pretty surprised it took city this long to give Mangala his debut, he's about as clear an upgrade on demichelis as you can possibly get.
