That's largely because you aren't playing with PC players though, no?
Look, I'm not suggesting you personally haven't seen hackers and don't know what they look like, nor am I suggesting it's not an issue, but I play mostly on PC servers on all sorts of games where I read they are "rife" with cheating, and they just aren't that bad. At all. And I spent 20 odd years playing CS
Like I say, as an example away from cod and back on to crossplay, look at Sea of Thieves. The Xbox players complained so much about PC cheaters (btw, I've yet to come across a single cheat and I've played hundreds of hours), that they forced in crossplay. What happened next? Predictable new excuses for the loses, mostly now they are demanding PvE only servers and shit like that not realising it will kill the game.
So what I'm saying is of course it looks less like cheating if you are all on controller (which isn't the case on xbox or ps4 anyway, add in a xim or similar and you get autoaim on mouse, which is aimbotting), but also you are getting dedicated console servers which has less ping issues and those account for way more accusations of cheating than anything (check out the early Valorant drama for examples of that!).
Game companies are well aware of this, hence why crossplay is a long way off being as norm as it could be. It's a tough one though, because as we've seen in fortnite for example, it can go too far the other way.
