I didn't realise he was only 15 in 2009, not sure what the punishment is for minors, 16 and 17 yr olds is 3 years and over that is 5.

The problem is the people spreading the rumors in the first place - mud sticks and so any stories about Morrison will tend to be believed because 'there's no smoke without fire etc' (and Morrison obviously has 'previous'). I think it's a situation we just have to live with sadly

Surely that would give it a lot more coverage. What I think they'll do is simply, if this is rubbish, they won't say anything and when he plays his next game/s it will all blow over. No need to create more headlines for the guy just to squash previous ones, he needs to get used to it sooner rather than later being english, skillful and already having a bad boy image because this kind of thing will follow him round like a bad smell.
