Yes, you are the only one.

None of the Real Madrid fans are happy, even the execs at Real Madrid who worked for this are not happy.

You are definitely the only one.
Well its a win win for me then!

Lately it hasn't been. Wijnaldum rejecting Barcelona offer to join PSG is a good example. Bayern are incapable of competing when the oil clubs are involved. Madrid had to sell players and not buy last summer to afford Mbappe. Its getting difficult to compete with these clubs with such cash reserves.
Lately it hasn't been? Didn't Bayern purchase Hernandez for an outrageous fee? Didn't De Jong reject PSG for Barcelona and an outrageous wage? Didn't De Ligt pick Juventus over PSG? Who purchased the current most expensive CMs and deferenders in the world? Liverpool, United and Barcelona.

The reality is that few players haven't joined the usual clubs and people somehow can't handle it.

Did you forget that all the transfers that you're quoting happened before covid? Do you not see how rampant oil clubs are in the market this year? City signed a player that doesn't improve them massively for 100m. They were ready to splash 150m on Kane. I'm not sure whats the size of PSG's wage bill but it's not going to get any smaller when they come back for Pogba next year.

Clubs will still be recovering in the next years and these oil clubs will keep picking up talents because it will only be them who can afford the prices. Or the packages that the free transfer players command.

Am I the only one who is happy that a traditional club is getting one over these state backed clubs? Mbappe is the biggest talent in world football and will serve his best years at Real. Better be there than fecking PSG.
The only one happy about this deal is the agent getting a commission based on the transfer fee. This is his retirement hooker fund in the making. Just this one deal. Disgusting breed of people.

So your point is about a 12 month period, you realize how silly it is? Clubs don't make expensive spending every summer, particularly when they already have their teams set. And no I don't see how rampant oil clubs are this summer, PSG signed a bunch of older players that didn't require transfer fees, City purchased one player worth mentioning. I'm more impressed with United signing Sancho and Varane than a bunch of old players or Grealish. As for Real Madrid they shouldn't be happy to pay +160m for Mbappé's last year of contract, it's a terrible deal from a financial standpoint.

I really shouldn't be and I can't find any fault with JPRouve's argument but yeah I'm kind of glad to see him going. I dont even like Real so kind of weird.

I know they have plenty of debt, but a club offering 180 mill for a player with just a year left of his contract doesn't look broke to me.

Sales and wages off the books. They aren't in Barca debt
