RedCafe FIFA 11 PS3 League - comments
Please only subscribe for this if you will have time for 30 odd games over the next three or four months. If you don't have time for this, there will be a cup competition starting up shortly, in which you will take place.
If there are less than or exactly 24 participants, there will be one league. If there are more, players will be divided into two divisions based on their location (just my idea, had no other plan to divide you).
As in Xbox 360 tournament, players will play each other twice if the league is shorter than or exactly 16 players and once if the league is larger than 16. I'm aware that this league might be larger than 360 one because more players seem to be playing on PS3, so all kinds of extensions will be available but only after they are consulted with me - if you and your opponent cannot play now, I will give you an extension. If you're going on holiday, I will postpone all your games until you've come back. It will be flexible as I'm aware that not everyone will be able to play at determined time.
A new rule is being introduced: teams of any quality lower than five stars will be allowed, including the likes of Arsenal, Milan and Juventus, but you will only be allowed to use certain team ONCE. If you pick Arsenal or Milan and other top guns early on, you will have to finish the competition with the likes of Wolfsburg and Newcastle. Don't know if it's a good rule but it will make things interesting and will require players to think longer about teams they pick. There will actually be more than a few teams used by participants and I will try to run a separate table for teams used in the competition, so you will be able to compare their results, not sure if I will cope with that.
Games will be 7 minutes a half.
So far people who told me they would play in it are: 20le_Solskjaer, Heffo, Eriku and United Fan 101. I play as well, so it's 5 of us.

espcially the bit about only using a team once... that'll mean specialists'll lose out to those who can handle their FIFA well across the board...
