Ok so I'll keep the OP updated with the names of players people suggest and we'll keep tabs on how they all turn out in the next few years.

Give us a name and they'll go on the list, obviously it must be talented youngster, not Titus Bramble (however much better than Zidane he may be), maybe if it's some really obscure one that nobody else has heard of I'll put your name by them, so you can be credited/mocked when they succeed/flop. If you want to put yourself out there as somebody who can spot a future world beater, just request I stick it under the 'Stick your neck on the line' section, state whether you think they'll will be dead certs to be top tier players, or whether you think they'll just be solid players.

Also, see a player on the list you think will flop? Or won't reach their potential? Let me know and it'll go in the Flop category.

Also let me know if you think someone shouldn't be on the list to begin with if you think they're already 'established/successful' i.e Rafael, who I'll put on there to start with anyway.

I'll start us off.

Fair play for compiling that Solius, must have taken a while.

Ravel Morrison's a risky shout - I'd say there's a 50/50 chance he'll be in jail in a few years. Top talent though.

Wilshere is already there phelan.

Alastair, didn't actually take that long, most off the top of my head. Hopefully the likes of Boss and others can help me with the Spanish youngsters and I don't watch much La Liga.

What would also be interesting, is if we all stick our necks on the line and predict which players out of those you listed are actually going to make it.

Lucas Da Silva, recent player everyones been in a fuss about. Smalling & David Luiz..

Ryo Miyaichi is another shout, along with Wellington Silva. Two overseas Arsenal stars of the future.

Just from Arsenal, I'd tag on Benik Afobe and Frimpong to that list.

Chuks Aneke and Ignasi Miquel are nailed on IMO. Afobe, Watt, Frimpong and JET possibles. Should be U21s?
Do you rate Miquel that highly? I've always thought he lacks a bit of pace and just general awareness for his position. I'd stick him in the 'possibles' myself.

Agreed on Aneke though, I should have mentioned him.

Can I say Thiago Silva?

I know he's already a starter for Milan, but I think he might go on to be one of the best defenders on the planet, with the same sort of recognition Vidic has today.

And I'll say Maicosuel from Botafogo as well. He's been to Hoffenheim and didn't cut it, but I think he's at least as good as Bebe.

And Obertan.

Sandro of Tottenham. He has recently turned 22. The best Brazilian midfielder in England.

In entire honesty, I don't know a lot of kids that are being touted as future stars; there are several at United who look the biz such as Pogba, Will Keane, Josh King, Ravel Morisson etc and then there's Oxlade-Chamberlain (is he another Giles Barnes?), Neymar, Jack Wilshere of course.

Raheem Sterling.

EDIT - Also, although he might not become TBPITW, I think he's potentially Top 4 material. Moussa Dembele.

I think Miquel is like Pique + pace. JET is enormously talented but can he find a way to deliver it positionally and attitude-wise?

Is Nicklas Bendtner worth putting on there? He reckons he can be one of the worlds best anyway.

Worth putting on a separate list all to himself, he's a tad special. Updated my post btw.

He's 26 for a few months yet I think but the point still stands
I know, but I don't think he's peaked yet, I think the in the next few years he could really shine, if Milan improve or he moves on to one of Europe's very top clubs.

And the poor guy, when he was a talented youngster at 20 he got tuberculosis and didn't play for 2 years. Maybe his body can last a bit longer than usual because he spent those 2 years not getting banged up.

Could we get a cut-off age?

Graham Dorrans (23)

Does he deserve stuck neck status? I'm not sure, myself.
