or more Bury vs Reserves
2pm KO..
Being played behind closed doors

Lindegaard might play
Any idea why its behind closed doors?

Rumour has it that Altrincham need the ground. Carrington's not exactly famous for it's open door policy. :D

Bury will play Manchester United this afternoon in the Manchester Senior Cup. The game will take place at Carrington behind closed doors.

Striker Andy Bishop gets a place on the bench after again coming back from a long term injury whilst Alan Knill will run the rule ovwer trialist's Karl Clair and Odilon Koubemba

The full Bury side is as follows:-

Bury: Richie Branagan, Zach Rothwell, Karl Clair (t), Andrai Jones, Kyle McGonigle, Krishnan Patel, David Worrall, Max Harrop, Danny Carlton, Odilon Koubemba (t), Luke McCarthy
Subs: Adam Dawson, Christian Dibble, Danny Hudson, Andy Bishop, Shaun Mangan

It's probably due to the amount of games on the Alty pitch in the coming weeks due to postponements.

They said on the Sky coverage yesterday that Lindegaard had the flu which is why he missed the game last week.

Good strong team that.

Bebe must be injured.

Academy players rested before the FA Youth Cup game on Wednesday at West Ham.

Oshea and Brown played last thursday too... Wonder who will start against Brum
Strong team that

1 nil to United. King. 7Mins. Simple tap in following right wing pull back from fabio

And: 2 nil to United. Brady with a great header 16 mins

I would think it will be O'Shea.

Brown just seems to be on Fergie's shitlist at the moment. Pity, as I would rather him play than O'Shea.

Shame King's loan deal at Preson didnt go that well. He looks a handful everytime i''ve seen him play

Sounds like a great start. I think that's to be expected considering there's 3 first teamers (4 if you count Lindegaard) though.

Playing Paul Scholes in reserves matches is simply not fair on the other team :)

3 nil to United on 25 mins. Great right wing run from oshea. King sweeps the ball into the net
4 nil to united. Obertan 30 mins. If jigsaw map a boxing match the ref would stopped it
5 nil now. Fabio on 32 mins

Glossary gone wrong?

6 nil. Obertan on 34 mins. Curled the ball round the keeper with the outside of his right foot

This is like Villa versus Arsenal.

7 nil, Obertan hits a hattrick, 42 mins done.

This is just cruel.

Oh, and Obertan just got his hat-trick. This looks like it's going to be double figures easily.

This is just unfair.. Putting out a first team against Bury reserves

These youngsters will be learning more from playing in a match with Paul Scholes than they would have learnt in a lifetime at most other clubs.

Fixed.
;)

He should be asked to play blindfolded to make it a fair contest, although he would still be able to outplay them.

I have us down as playing 4-4-1-1 in the first half with Obertan just off King.

with the changes at hlaf time, I think it is more of a 4-5-1. So does that mean we are now just trying to close out the game?

Lindegaard has had two shots to face and has handled them cleanly. Lots of talking, good on crosses, good distribution.

Bury's Carlton cracks a decent effort towards the top corner from edge of the box, Lindegaard catches it brilliantly, with little effort.
