Honestly, so bad it was almost unwatchable at times.

It was bad enough as it was with poor acting & nonsensical story. Then Connor McGregor happened... Wow ..

The worst acting I have ever seen in my life. He was truly appalling. Some half decent fight scenes aside the remake is an absolute crock of shite and McGregor needs to feck off from the big screen and never return.

Never seen the original but watched this tripe Friday night.

Jake Gyllenhaal played a decent part but McGregor was absolutely dreadful and basically played a caricature of himself.

A waste of 2 hours

It was fine for what it was but nowhere near as good as the original.

I found Gyllenhaal's character weird with the smiling all the time attitude. McGregor massively over acted. I guess to be expected.

Gyllenhaal was oddly great in a terrible movie. The cgi was horrific. Conor was atrocious.

Absolutely love the original. It’s so bad it’s fantastic. Love it. Lost count of the amount of times I have been looking for something to watch late in the evening and seen that out and put it on and watched the rest of it no matter how long it’s been on already. Don’t think I’ll watch this one though.

I love the original because Swayze and Sam Elliot! It's a classic, a shit 80's movie but still a classic.

McGregor looked like a cartoon character and sounded like one too. What an absolute bellend. His body was hilarious too, he looked like an anime character. Ripped, yes, but he just looks odd. And I couldn't tell if he was trying to put an accent on or he just speaks like a kid on helium pretending to do an Irish accent. Honestly the worst thing I've ever seen. Although the lady bar owner came a close second.

Jake was decent but even given how ripped he was he still wasn't strong enough to do the heavy lifting put on him.

Joaquin Del Almeda just looked fecking bored the entire time too. He knew it was a stinker. I can't believe it's getting a 6.2 on IMDB.

This might end up going the same way. So bad it's good etc.

But aside from some ropey cgi it was ok until Conor showed up playing himself. He needed some direction, at points you could barely hear what he was saying. Gyllenhall was decent, he always is though.

Haven't seen it but i find it weird that McGregor's acting is being praised in most reviews and on here a totally different story

I don’t get why it’s labelled a remake

It’s nothing like the original. It’s closer to Home Alone than Road House

Awful acting I can forgive in a film like this. But… No boobies. No kicking. Terrible

I feel like morally I can't watch this movie just bc of Conor being such a despicable thundercnut of a human being. Also made me lose respect for Gyllenhaal.

Not surprised about his payday, he's the reason most people seem to be bothering to watch it.

I did laugh at his entrance scene because of the absurdity of it.

It's truly appalling.

I worry for the future of film. Too few people are even trying at all anymore, and those that are won't be around forever.

When Macgregor kicks Jake and Jake flies at least 20 feet across the room… full Sharknado.

The post credits scene is mad too. Considering what happens to close the film.

He’s been coked up by the looks of it in most of the press outings. Jake Gyllenhall must be wondering why he took this film on.

That's not coke at a guess i would say he may be withdrawing or coming down from something.

As for Gyllenhall he is well known for being a huge jerk in real life and on set so i doubt he has much of a choice in any roles he gets these days.

Absolutely terrible. It was kinda ok until McGregor turns up. He was like a cartoon character of himself. Watched The Beekeeper today and that’s equally ridiculous.
