Agree, however it seems Mourinho is only looking to bring in one more.I would say we need both to transform our left hand side.
A fullback like Rose would contribute in attack as well though? Our problem last season wasn't our defence, it was our attack so I'd go with Perisic.

Absolutely! He'd enable us to stretch the play which would then allow Mkhi and Pogba more room to work their magic in the gaps in which Tony and Rose would open up.A fullback like Rose would contribute in attack as well though?
He would, but his attacking instincts won't be as good as an actual winger.A fullback like Rose would contribute in attack as well though?
Rose can play left back, left wingback and left wing. For that alone he'd win
It's a team game. One of the main reasons our attack was crap was because our back four didn't contribute to the attacking play or even buildup apart from Valencia. Our problem last season wasn't our defence, it was our attack so I'd go with Perisic.
True, that's why I would argue we need both.He would, but his attacking instincts won't be as good as an actual winger.
No, it was because we had unreliable left forwards in Martial and Rashford. Zlatan was our main source of attack, until Rashford stepped up toward the end of the season (too late). Blind, Darmian and Young held the left back role decently well. It's a team game. We have two excellent right side playmakers in Mata and Mhikitaryan. Its the left wing that is our obvious problem. I also don't think Persic has ever actually operated as a wingback.Perisic can play on either side as a winger or a wingback so I don't see how that works in Rose's favour. We're not exactly stacked for right wingers at the moment.
For me it depends on what Mourinho thinks of Martial and Shaw. If he doesn't trust either of them then get Perisic. If he doesn't trust Shaw then get Rose.

I'd be all for having an attacking left back if I thought Jose would actually pick him.It looks like people are understating the impact that attacking full backs have on a team's overall attacking potency.
I've always rated Bertrand, and think he would be among the talks for team of the year if in a more dominant team.Bertrand.
They both contributed negatively. I'd argue a big reason why Martial and Rashford were unreliable because they didn't get enough support when they got the ball and/or didn't get it in optimal conditions. No, it was because we had unreliable left forwards in Martial and Rashford. Well Mourinho loves a bit of Valencia. I think there's more to his reluctance in picking Shaw than the fact he likes to run the flank.I'd be all for having an attacking left back if I thought Jose would actually pick him.
