Exactly. They think they can still peddle the same line. Essentially skirting around the truth.
Keep up, they haven't looked because there's nothing to see. If they had looked and found there was something to see then they would look. Clear?

People get what they deserve.
That is very true.
And it is also true that far too few people will care and even fewer will understand the importance of this embarrassing negligence.
Total and utter negligence.

One thing is for certain--while Russia may have perfected some of the digital warfare - it's not just Russian money that's the issue of course. Countries like Germany and England have plenty of their own dirt (I. E. HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Volkswagen, BAE, etc).

I'm livid this isn't anywhere as scandalous as it ought to be. Harp on wax lyrical about the issue of sovereignty when it comes to Brexit, but happily dig your head in the sand when your country's democratic integrity is being threatened by malevolent outside forces since you and your mates stand to personally benefit.

The annoying thing is this will be a non issue come the next election. Voters will still elect them back into government, all while drowning in the shit-infested Brexit cesspit. But hey, thank god we don't have comrade Corbyn at the helm.

People have been put into such a state of fear when it comes to immigration and taxes that they'll happily vote for the tories who will keep those pesky immigrants out and won't spend your tax money on mansions for pedofiles

Very true. This should be gaining much more coverage but sadly it will be forgotten in a few weeks.

Shows that for all the talk of our sovereign nation, most people really don't have a clue what that really means. That, and the if the media don't repeat something 100 times per year then the population won't think it is relevant.

And this is what concerns me. It essentially inspires the Tories to Trump their way out of a scandal by drawing a line under it and telling us to move on. It worked with Priti Patel's bullying allegations, Cummings-gate and it'll work with this.
