Its probably builds morale internally among the Ukrainian troops and across a decent swath of domestic Ukrainians. Its obviously well over the top for most outside observers.

You don't even need comparisons between his doubles to know he is using them. Recently he gave a speech in front of some ambassadors (maybe you saw that awkward silence moment when he waited for applause).
