Goodwill! What, so they can shell it themselves?
If he violates sourcing policy on a major story then that would be sackable.
I sure Elon Musk will employ him since the AP cancelled him.If he violates sourcing policy on a major story then that would be sackable.

Doubtful, if he had a single source for the story he is overqualified.I sure Elon Musk will employ him since the AP cancelled him.

Which means that unlike HIMARS this system can be used against moving targets. It's a different ability and both are valuableTurkey now supplying guided MLRS, though I think targets need to be laser painted.

"sensitive content" To Russians maybe.
Wow, almost 200 million meals. Surreal.
Following up on this, because why not. There's been some talk in here about alleged spying in Norway, with some arrests made. Drones and the like. I don't think much is known about those cases yet, but one person arrested in Svalbard is Andrey Yakunin, son of Vladimir Yakunin who has pretty close ties to Putin (Wiki link). https://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/...-er-en-del-av-putins-absolutt-naermeste-krets
What the cases involving drones mean is hard to say, because with the sanctions it's illegal no matter how benign the filming is so it can be anything. In this specific instance it's also a bit more unclear about the legalities with Svalbard having some laws about discrimination based on nationality that may or may not be relevant here. More on that: https://www.nrk.no/tromsogfinnmark/angriper-droneforbudet_-_-bryter-mot-svalbardtraktaten-1.16145691
Both articles in Norwegian, so you'll have to use a translator if you're interested in details.
I hope they're dead.Russians seems to have had some success in Mariinka…Some lads (who have been there since 2014) that I know are fighting in that direction. We have transferred them drones and pickup trucks just two weeks ago. After loading them with goodies one of my best mates went all the way to Mariinka to deliver them, where he had a sleepover at one of the army bases just 300m from the frontline. Hopefully we hear from them soon enough.
I hope they're dead.
Why would you want them dead? Unless I was not clear enough that these are the people fighting Russians.I hope they're dead.
It wasn't very clear because of the first sentence. Why would you want them dead? Unless I was not clear enough that these are the people fighting Russians.
Ok. I was hoping my posting history in this thread implies it alright. It wasn't very clear because of the first sentence.
Not surprising given that its close to Donetsk city - an area the Russians can't afford to lose.Russians seems to have had some success in Mariinka…Some lads (who have been there since 2014) that I know are fighting in that direction. I would be interested in seeing more commentary on how Turkey are navigating this and will look on the other side. They and Poland seem to be set to readjust their influence.Tweet

How has it been normalized? It looks like Russian bombing of Ukraine has been normalized in the west. Absolute disgrace from Biden, Macron, etc.
Have you seen any adequate response that would discourage Russia from doing so? Only thoughts and prayers. How has it been normalized?
Well beyond thoughts and prayers they're supplying a shedload of weapons including antiaircraft stuff. What else do you realistically want them to doHave you seen any adequate response that would discourage Russia from doing so? Only thoughts and prayers.
To supply something that they can strike back with (mid to long range targets). Modern aircrafts which they can use to intercept missiles as well? That would quickly make them think twice about wasting their missiles on civilians. Biden to declare Russia a terrorist state? There’s a lot on which the west still is holding off from.Well beyond thoughts and prayers they're supplying a shedload of weapons including antiaircraft stuff. What else do you realistically want them to do
He also clarifies that he thinks the EU has done a brilliant job since. But yeah, damning of Germany in particular. Not sure if it’s been mentioned, and I know the interview is by Johnson, but it’s quite damning for France and Germany in terms of how they initially handled things. It also links in with comments made by Ukrainian officials at the time.
