Did we really expect them to charge him?

Bunch of twats the FA are, you can guarantee if it was Nani kicking Gallas, Nani would have got discplinary action against him.

May all kids learning their football remember that kicking an opponent off the ball is not a major problem.

So the FA insist that you're not allowed to over-celebrate a goal but its ok to kick players around.

A joke is what this lot are...

It is a bit of a joke tbh. Any other club would've seen the player punished correctly (Except Liverpool probably)

It's just a spastic decision really. Gary Neville celebrates a winning goal at OUR ground in front of the Liverpool fans and he gets a ticking off by the FA, but Gallas fecking assaults Nani and diddly squat is done about it. Also what about the awful tackle that Flamini did on Nani before Gallas kicked him, if Nani hadn't have jumped out the way, Flamini would have broke him in half.

Yellow card for taking your shirt off and nothing for kicking somebody off the ball.

The FA is run by knobs who are so out of touch with fans.
Nobody is actually surprised by the decision though, the FA have been out of touch for so long people just expect them to act in this way.

M.U.M. knows best.
I sent the FA an email telling them what a bad example they are setting to kids around the country.

The FA: "Ok ,Kids you CAN'T take your shirt off or celebrate a goal excitedly

BUT.....and here's the good bit....

You CAN kick someone up the arse when you feel petulant because you're losing..."

Ok people... being a Manchester United fan often gets me to say things in a biased way... but this is getting out of proportion... this will surely bite back to them...

Isn't aggression a felony? Or does the law differ when you are on a pitch? I firmly believe that we should not remain silent with this situation...

Manchester United midfielder Nani has been charged by the FA for inciting violence in the FA Cup fifth round tie against Arsenal.

A statement release by the FA this morning stated that a tribunal date would be set in early March.

The statement also read.

"After reviewing evidence the FA have deemed the contempt shown by Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha,
otherwise known as Nani, towards the Arsenal players was inappropriate and had the potential to incite the crowd"

If found guilty Nani will face a three match ban. A spokesman for Manchester United has labelled the charge as "unfair" and "ridiculous".
