Did you count his own goal in the final?People still feel the same about this? Scored 9 European games in a row for Inter . Excellent game in the Nations League as well...

Yep. Even if he becomes world class CL winner it won't change a fact that he wasn't good player and good fit for us.Yes. The majority of us don't care how he's doing at Inter and are glad he's gone.
100% the right decision to sell himPeople still feel the same about this? Scored 9 European games in a row for Inter . Excellent game in the Nations League as well...
That's simply untrue. Ole has a new style of football which just does not suit Lukaku a style were the forwards have to be able to link play and be able to pass a ball .Hehe not really. Although the gap is not big since we have only played 7 games and most others 8.
Thus we could bounce back.
A Lukaku in our side and our chances to win things would be higher.
We are not using our central forwards that much in the game though and Lukaku does that role for Inter anyway. I don't see advanced play that could not be improved with Lukaku in the sideThat's simply untrue. A Lukaku would be sat on the bench playing a Igahlo role and he's for sure worth to much to another team for that .
What sums up Lukaku best for me was my Everton mate saying for ages how much he hated him yet I'd say he scores all your goals he would say yeah true but he is the most frustrating player to watch ..
It took me about 6 weeks of going to OT to realise exactly what he meant . So much play stopped as soon as he got involved .
I hope he has a good career because he seems like a decent lad but I'm for sure delighted he isn't a United player anymore .
Martial is involved in loads of link up play which Lukaku can't do . We all have our opinion on him and you are entitled to yours . My opinion is I'm happy he's goneWe are not using our central forwards that much in the game though and Lukaku does that role for Inter anyway. He was here though and yes he scored some goals, but we need a better CF than him and Martial for that matter> Lets see if Cavani can do it for us.We are not using our central forwards that much in the game though and Lukaku does that role for Inter anyway. I don't see advanced play that could not be improved with Lukaku in the side
He’s a bit of a Higuain in that regard. He had to go. He was begging for Serie A and Antonio Conte at every opportunity he could. He even came out saying how he was thinking of leaving us from the second game he played.
All the best to him. Long may he continue with his 20+ goal seasons which culminate with a bunch of a pointing at where he wanted the ball and missing chances in the biggest of matches.
what he says below. You won't win things with Lukaku was your main strikerHehe not really. Although the gap is not big since we have only played 7 games and most others 8.

Lukaku hasn't won a trophy since 2011, unless you mean a prolific striker then yes, that'd be good, but not Lukaku.
He hasn't really played for big sides most of the time though. For us we got really close to win with him.what he says below. You won't win things with Lukaku was your main striker
And why is that? remember Everton FA Cup Semi against us? We were there for the taking, a shit Vangle team and instead he got pocketed by Blind. That was when I first thought he was sus.He hasn't really played for big sides most of the time though. For us we got really close to win with him.
In Inter he reached one final as well, but caused his own destruction in that one with the own goal.
Second best team in the world cup as well he played for. Very close from a world cup win as well.
His big game record is pretty poor though so he got himself to blame particular for us. If Lukaku had done his job vs City maybe we could have really challenged them for longer at least.
His touch seems to have improved quite a bit since leaving us.It's not that he couldn't score, it's the aesthetics before he can score the goals.
Neither of them were good to the level that should be expectedThis isn't even up for debate, we received an excellent offer for a striker who wasn't playing well and didn't fit our game plan. Ibra was what 35 when he came here and outperformed him in an inferior team.
Ibra was free though, Lukaku cost us £80m...hence why selling him to Inter was an absolute no brainerNeither of them were good to the level that should be expected
What a petty post! And why is that? remember Everton FA Cup Semi against us? We were there for the taking, a shit Vangle team and instead he got pocketed by Blind. That was when I first thought he was sus.
Then only United and Chelsea wanted him, mostly because of Conte and Jose (who thought he was a target man). He has been available many times but the Bayerns, Real's Barca's City's Psg's, Juve's said "nah thanks."
Then there is the "golden generation" of Belgium. The best crop of players they have ever produced and not a final to show for it despite Rom scoring so many goals. Maybe if he could turn up in the crunch time they wouldn't be getting dumped out by Wales and at least make a final. I know its a team game of course but it annoys me when peeps point to his international record to hype him when Belgium get dumped out in:
WC 2014 quarters by Argentina (scored the ET winner vs USA which was his solitary goal all tourney)
Euro 2016 quarters by Wales (Lukaku not registering in the knock outs and 2 for the tournament)
World Cup 3rd KO by France (Rom not registering in the knock outs despite playing 4 times)
now I know its not just down to him as its a team game however his teammates enjoy massive success elsewhere so I do wonder how Belgium would fare with a Zlatan, Mbabbe, Henry or Cristiano up top in place of Rom?
I seem like a hater but he does indeed irritate me. He thinks he is so sick, is arrogant and I guess his goal record from a young age allows him to be. I would be too. But when you look past the numbers and read between the lines he is the most linear of flat track bully yet you have to build everything around him but the pay off isn't right. You get short changed somehow. He'll keep believing he is the best and talking about "chasing Thierry Henry record" despite the two of them not even being on the same stratosphere. He reminds me of Deontay Wilder a bit in his delusions of grandeur.
I don't like him, but he at least said this after he left us. Delighted we got so much money for him (though it'll all line the Glazer's pockets)He had to go. He was begging for Serie A and Antonio Conte at every opportunity he could. He even came out saying how he was thinking of leaving us from the second game he played.
Countless other goals to win us points? He's a quality player, scores goals for fun, I couldn't care less that he didn't score against the 'big six' in the prem, he scored countless other goals to win us points.
Brilliant!Countless other goals to win us points?
He scored 16 goals and 12 goals in his two seasons for us in the PL.
That's a goal every 179 minutes - Chris Woods had a goal every 175 minutes for Burnley last season
I think is more a matter of each player characteristics, your equation is too simple. Very good Premier League players like Ramsey or Eriksen are having a nightmare in Serie A.He was averaging about 16 goals/season in the PL and regularly crap against big teams (even worse for us when he netted like 3 in 24 or something like that).
All powers to him now that he’s found his groove in Italy, but color me not impressed that’s he’s doing well in a league where 38 year old Zlatan or Ciro Immobile are top forwards.
Spot on.I like him better than most in here, but he is quite misunderstood. People expected a complete forward due to size and pace. Instead, he is very limited. He is very good at what he is good at. He needs to be used a specific way. Koeman knew. Conte know.
Mourinho, to my big surprise, did not have a clue! I actually think OGS managed him fine, but he did not suit him at all.
We are doing better without him and he’s doing better in Serie A playing for a manager who wants to give him a guaranteed starting XI spot without fight for your spot. Both parties have the same feeling which is happy, so why should we feel the opposite?People still feel the same about this? Scored 9 European games in a row for Inter . Excellent game in the Nations League as well...
