Reguilon seems an easy decision, although I have no complaints with Shaw apart from his fitness issues. We could use solid cover for Shaw and from time to time use Shaw in back three with Reguilon as left wingback. All upside and no downside as far as I can tell.
Ok, so Real want a buyback clause. If Reguilon develops into that kind of fullback then we will have gotten two great years out of him. We can recover from that.
Pull the trigger on this, Woody, so long as it does not undermine our ability to bring in Sancho. For me, the top priority is addressing the RW problem and as I'm not interested in Bale (he had his chance) it's all about Sancho. But if we can do both, let's do both.
