Should the CL Final be moved to England? - Moved to Portugal

It did mention about Villa Park on Sky Sports News last night, but the reporter said it's highly unlikely because Villa Park isn't a UEFA Category 5 stadium - i.e. not enough press boxes etc

...but I guess with a heavily reduced attendance due to Covid, surely they could do something?

Just cancel it, it’s not as someone cares who wins anyway…

I think Cardiff would be the best choice - in 2017 the final between Real and Juventus was there and it was great.

100% it should be moved. Could play it at Anfield or Villa Park.

there’s not going to be that many fans allowed anyway - given the pandemic, it’s ridiculous for any fans to be thinking about going to turkey.

UEFA won’t think logically about it though.
That night in Barcelona.
That night in Istanbul.
That night in Munich.

Years from now;

That night at ..... Villa Park?

Turkey is having a steep decline in covid cases for the past two weeks, no reason to put restrictions on them given then the final is still a month away.

We pulled out first, so it should be Stamford Bridge.

Well it's where the greatest ever FA Cup semi-final replay goal was scored.

How many FA Cup semifinal replay goals have there been? Can't have been that many over the years.

Why are people mentioning OT at all? Surely not an option with a Manchester club involved. I'd say same for Wembley, though the playoffs have scuppered that already. Lots of other UK stadiums available, if UEFA shock us and decide to be reasonable.

Time for UEFA to their money where their mouth is and do the right thing after them acting acting holier than thou over the big nasty money grabbing super league proposal.

Makes sense. Just give Istanbul dibs on a future one or give them 2 finals in 3 years once this covid stuff is over.

Exactly, that's why it was the best one ever!

No I was playing it down because I'm a Utd supporter and obviously biased towards my club... of course I really believe it was the best FA Cup goal ever - but that's a debate for another time, and another thread.

Falkland Islands.
Something similar would be the best. Small nations don't usually have the chance to arrange such games, now with no attendance, they should get the once in a lifetime chance. Faroe Island, Iceland are good options

Why should Turkey and UEFA accept to move this if it is english government who pt Turkey on red list?

Just play without fans. No problem.

Hey now, Villa Park is a great stadium.

They surely have to move it now? The fact they've said they're thinking about options seems to suggest it'll happen.

This would be the simplest option. I don't get why Turkey would even allow fans to attend when they will have just come out of a national lockdown. Either Turkey say no fans or UEFA move it England. If we were in Turkey's situation and the CL final was due to be played at Wembley between 2 foreign teams even Boris wouldn't allow fans.

You don't want City winning the cl at old Trafford. Though old Trafford has had a CL final before. The most boring one ever
