Ronaldo is never happening but I’d love it to just for old times sake.He will be packing his bags and off to Juventus again in the summer, with Ronaldo finally coming home as part of the deal.

Juve doesn’t need him to be honest. Unless if they change manager, on current team they play 442 and they already have Arthur and Rabiot in midfield. Can’t see buyers who are desperate for creative midfielder like Pogba except PSG, Real & Barcelona. He will be packing his bags and off to Juventus again in the summer, with Ronaldo finally coming home as part of the deal.
I think Juve's director came out to say he loves Pogba and Romano also said he would have been a Juve player if not pandemic. I think it's only PSG that needs him. The other teams have more pressing needsJuve doesn’t need him to be honest. Unless if they change manager, on current team they play 442 and they already have Arthur and Rabiot in midfield. £50m I reckon. The reason being that whoever he joins is going to have to factor in a £290k per week salary. Though he is still incredibly marketable, probably one of the most marketable players in the world, which should give any buying club a big incentive. No one wanted to really buy him for 80m when we brought him in. Why would anyone want him now post-covid? Genuine question, what sort of price would he need to be benchmarked at to entice buyers? I'm sure all big clubs will be looking at him because he's obviously very talented but to put money down is a different matter.
Selling him at the earliest opportunity opens up the chance to play VDB as a starter. This will settle him down and reduce the speculation that he's possibly disaffected by a lack of playing time. I'd rather see Pogba at Juve than VDB, which is one of the current gossip items.Makes no sense to sell him in January. Need to play him in some easy games to show others how good he is, otherwise I don't know if we can attract any buyers.
This is the biggest case of my head saying absolutely hell no, but my heart begging for it.Ronaldo is never happening but I’d love it to just for old times sake.
50m pounds at best probably in summer. If we sell him in January we might be able to get 60m to 70m pounds but no one are desperate enough to even splash that cash in January, may be Real if they get another bad result this week and December, Zidane can say I need new player. His current transfer value is 80m euro at this moment.People who actually understand the transfer market(it's all a mystery to me): how much could we realistically sell him for? We are just as bad at selling players as we at buying them(if not worse), so whatever Pogba realistically is worth we'll probably just get 70-80% of that.
Everyone knows that Bruno is much better and that VDB looks very promising. Because of that, I reckon clubs will try to lowball us big time. Then again, Woody could counter with the fact that Pogba still is very marketable and that a change of environment could see him return to former glory. In which case, 50-60 million could be a steal.
Cavani at our club rules it out too straight away. Makes zero sense. Still would be ace. This is the biggest case of my head saying absolutely hell no, but my heart begging for it.
Need to overcome that sentimentality.
This. Even though Cavani didn’t score against Istanbul, it showed us what we’d look like with a proper CF and it just looked better. We should be going for Haaland as striker first. I expected Martial to push on this season and it’s just not happening. His future is probably left wing rotation option the way he’s going.
This is why I think we’ll be stuck with him until he can leave on a free. I really can’t see any club being willing to pay what we would value Pogba at.I cannot see Juve being able to afford Pogba - not while they’ve got Ronaldo on their books - they are financially struggling because of Covid and they have a massive wage bill - they would need to shift quite a few to accommodate Pogbas transfer fee, signing on fee, wages and his agents huge commission.
Think it can only really be PSG unless someone can come up with a very imaginative type deal.
that would be stupidity by the club, would be a laughing stock letting him leave for nothing a 2nd timeThis is why I think we’ll be stuck with him until he can leave on a free. I really can’t see any club being willing to pay what we would value Pogba at.
I agree, but who is going to buy him on current form? Seriously, he’s not helping himself and Ole isn’t helping by not selecting him (he’s right not selecting him by the way, the further he is from our team the better).that would be stupidity by the club, would be a laughing stock letting him leave for nothing a 2nd time
Raiola will be rubbing his hands together for negotiating a free transfer from next January. This is why I think we’ll be stuck with him until he can leave on a free. I really can’t see any club being willing to pay what we would value Pogba at.
The whole saga has been a car crash.Raiola will be rubbing his hands together for negotiating a free transfer from next January.
once again the club have ballsed it up. They could have sold him 12 months ago for maybe 100m, yet put a stupid undeserved price on him. Now they will likely take a big hit on himI agree, but who is going to buy him on current form? Seriously, he’s not helping himself and Ole isn’t helping by not selecting him (he’s right not selecting him by the way, the further he is from our team the better).
Yep, agreed there. And all the time he’s earning more than double what Bruno is while contributing less than half. It’s all been very disappointing.once again the club have ballsed it up. They could have sold him 12 months ago for maybe 100m, yet put a stupid undeserved price on him. Now they will likely take a big hit on him
If we could pull Arthur in that deal, it would be amazing. Great and underappreciated player. He will be packing his bags and off to Juventus again in the summer, with Ronaldo finally coming home as part of the deal.
Don't worry, we're not that stupid.that would be stupidity by the club, would be a laughing stock letting him leave for nothing a 2nd time
That is because Ole does not know how to play with two up front without wingers. DVB would be brilliant in a 4 man midfield. The team will look more solid too.If we had signed Grealish instead of VDB and Pellistri I think we probably would have forgotten about pogba by now and sold him this summer.
VDB smacks of a panic buy, doesn’t really seem to fit in anywhere, a nothing player for me. I don’t think hes brilliant in the hole or strong enough for the two holding positions. A fairly good player but doesn’t tick any boxes.
Rashford—Martial— Greenwood
———Grealish———-Bruno
———————Fred————————
That would work against lesser teams and be good for chasing games.
With Cavani, Pogba Mctominay Matic, Diallo, James in reserves.
Maybe Grealish was unattainable but I don’t think that was the case, Woodward presuming he knows best again I assume.
your argument wasn't going anywhere and then i saw martial up front . Martial v VDB as a player and VDB wins it every time. I'm not saying Martial hasn't ability but premier league and Utd doesn't suit him. He just isn't a happy player. There is no joy in watching him as he doesn't seem to enjoy his job,That is because Ole does not know how to play with two up front without wingers. DVB would be brilliant in a 4 man midfield. The team will look more solid too.
And this is based on?That is because Ole does not know how to play with two up front without wingers. DVB would be brilliant in a 4 man midfield. The team will look more solid too.
