He will be packing his bags and off to Juventus again in the summer, with Ronaldo finally coming home as part of the deal.
Ronaldo is never happening but I’d love it to just for old times sake.

Juve doesn’t need him to be honest. Unless if they change manager, on current team they play 442 and they already have Arthur and Rabiot in midfield. Can’t see buyers who are desperate for creative midfielder like Pogba except PSG, Real & Barcelona.

No one wanted to really buy him for 80m when we brought him in. Why would anyone want him now post-covid? Genuine question, what sort of price would he need to be benchmarked at to entice buyers? I'm sure all big clubs will be looking at him because he's obviously very talented but to put money down is a different matter.

I think Juve's director came out to say he loves Pogba and Romano also said he would have been a Juve player if not pandemic. I think it's only PSG that needs him. The other teams have more pressing needs

People who actually understand the transfer market(it's all a mystery to me): how much could we realistically sell him for? We are just as bad at selling players as we at buying them(if not worse), so whatever Pogba realistically is worth we'll probably just get 70-80% of that.

Everyone knows that Bruno is much better and that VDB looks very promising. Because of that, I reckon clubs will try to lowball us big time. Then again, Woody could counter with the fact that Pogba still is very marketable and that a change of environment could see him return to former glory. In which case, 50-60 million could be a steal.

Yes 100%, he's barely played for us this season, has been wildly inconsistent when he has, time to go. We just won't have many suitors based on the price we'd want and the wages he'd want.

£50m I reckon. The reason being that whoever he joins is going to have to factor in a £290k per week salary. Though he is still incredibly marketable, probably one of the most marketable players in the world, which should give any buying club a big incentive.

It’d show good footballing intent from the club to ditch this guy, as Ole clearly already knows that Pogba isn’t part of his best XI. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ed is already weighing up the pros and cons of saving a million quid a month, or losing the ability to plaster Pogba’s face over every bit of Man Utd promotional material, and how that might affect future brand negotiations.

When this what is now appearing to be an annual problem of what to do with Pogba comes around, I wonder if SAF sits quietly somewhere and smiles to himself and thinks "I was fecking right to let him go"... you couldn't blame him if he did!

I understand the marketing angle a lot of posters are bringing up, but even if Pogba left I think we have some big marketing faces willing to take his place. For starters we have DDG who is still a really recognizable chap.

Then we have Rashford who stepped up big time in the last 2 years both on the field and off the field.

And let's not forget Martial, the man has a fanatical following.

If Woody can get 50-60 mil on a player with 1 year left on his contract in our Covid ridden world, I think that it would be a good deal for everyone involved

Makes no sense to sell him in January. Need to play him in some easy games to show others how good he is, otherwise I don't know if we can attract any buyers.

Selling him at the earliest opportunity opens up the chance to play VDB as a starter. This will settle him down and reduce the speculation that he's possibly disaffected by a lack of playing time. I'd rather see Pogba at Juve than VDB, which is one of the current gossip items.
It also removes a disruptive influence from the dressing room, which is a problem that will only get worse with time.

This is the biggest case of my head saying absolutely hell no, but my heart begging for it.

Need to overcome that sentimentality.

If anyone was willing to pay £50m in January, whether it's a loan with obligation to buy or not, we should snap their hands off.

PSG probably our only hope. He'd fit in well there. He'd look world class in most games playing against vastly inferior sides.

I cannot see Juve being able to afford Pogba - not while they’ve got Ronaldo on their books - they are financially struggling because of Covid and they have a massive wage bill - they would need to shift quite a few to accommodate Pogbas transfer fee, signing on fee, wages and his agents huge commission.

Think it can only really be PSG unless someone can come up with a very imaginative type deal.

We probably should seriously considering selling Pogba to PSG. Not at any price, but at somewhere in the 40-60m range would do. Whatever the issues are, he's never really consistently performed well at Old Trafford and at his age, he needs to be performing well on a consistent basis somewhere.

However, if he's prepared to commit himself to United, let's give him the second half of the season to demonstrate it. We may find ourselves in the knockout stages in the CL and peak Pogba could be a very useful asset to getting into the latter stages of the tournament.

50m pounds at best probably in summer. If we sell him in January we might be able to get 60m to 70m pounds but no one are desperate enough to even splash that cash in January, may be Real if they get another bad result this week and December, Zidane can say I need new player. His current transfer value is 80m euro at this moment.

I think its time to sell for what you can get and move on. They've been trying to feature him as a leader / world class player for so long and the production has never come close to the supposed potential. Get whatever they can and apply it towards another defender. I don't think he really wants to be at the club, there really isn't consistent production and why would anyone think its going to get better? I want to see it as much as anyone but there's no sign a truly dominating player is going to emerge.

Cavani at our club rules it out too straight away. Makes zero sense. Still would be ace.

I’m actually super excited for Diallo the most. The kid looks incredible on the ball much like Ronnie as a youngster with his dribbling and tricks.

We should be going for Haaland as striker first. I expected Martial to push on this season and it’s just not happening. His future is probably left wing rotation option the way he’s going.

This. Even though Cavani didn’t score against Istanbul, it showed us what we’d look like with a proper CF and it just looked better.

Martial has the tools to do a better job for us coming in off the LW.

This is why I think we’ll be stuck with him until he can leave on a free. I really can’t see any club being willing to pay what we would value Pogba at.

Sell him and sell martial at the same time, Both of them are as lazy as feck and do not give a feck about the club.Hopefully we should get a few quid for them both and maybe sign up a couple of players who want to play for us and are prepared to put a shift in.

that would be stupidity by the club, would be a laughing stock letting him leave for nothing a 2nd time

I agree, but who is going to buy him on current form? Seriously, he’s not helping himself and Ole isn’t helping by not selecting him (he’s right not selecting him by the way, the further he is from our team the better).

Raiola will be rubbing his hands together for negotiating a free transfer from next January.

once again the club have ballsed it up. They could have sold him 12 months ago for maybe 100m, yet put a stupid undeserved price on him. Now they will likely take a big hit on him

Yep, agreed there. And all the time he’s earning more than double what Bruno is while contributing less than half. It’s all been very disappointing.

If we had signed Grealish instead of VDB and Pellistri I think we probably would have forgotten about pogba by now and sold him this summer.

VDB smacks of a panic buy, doesn’t really seem to fit in anywhere, a nothing player for me. I don’t think hes brilliant in the hole or strong enough for the two holding positions. A fairly good player but doesn’t tick any boxes.

Rashford—Martial— Greenwood
———Grealish———-Bruno
———————Fred————————

That would work against lesser teams and be good for chasing games.

With Cavani, Pogba Mctominay Matic, Diallo, James in reserves.

Maybe Grealish was unattainable but I don’t think that was the case, Woodward presuming he knows best again I assume.

If we could pull Arthur in that deal, it would be amazing. Great and underappreciated player.

If Ole wanted Pogba gone and Zidane is still in a job next summer, I am sure we will find some kind of a deal with RM.

Not saying it is a good deal or anything but I am sure RM would be happy to do a swap with a Varane or a Hazard.

I know everyone likes to point at Sanchez and Di Maria as being our worst signings ever but when you consider the transfer fee, plus agent fees and then his massive salary, we’re looking at an outlay of close to £200 million. Then take into account the massive expectations when he signed and hopes he’d be a saviour with a return of two trophies, it’s been a disaster. Sell and get rid of this clown, he’s disgraced the shirt long enough.

I think this is an excellent video highlighting the issue of him at the club. Both a mix of a lack of tactical accommodation on Solskjaer's behalf and also Pogba being one dimensional with his defensive capabilities making it hard to find balance.

That is because Ole does not know how to play with two up front without wingers. DVB would be brilliant in a 4 man midfield. The team will look more solid too.

Utd need to do one thing only regarding Pogba and that is but a plan in action to obtain as much as possible for the sale. Whatever it takes get the money and reinvest. Move on it hasn't work out for any of the parties except for moneybags agent.

your argument wasn't going anywhere and then i saw martial up front . Martial v VDB as a player and VDB wins it every time. I'm not saying Martial hasn't ability but premier league and Utd doesn't suit him. He just isn't a happy player. There is no joy in watching him as he doesn't seem to enjoy his job,

He’ll be gone in January. Out on loan with guaranteed buy clause. He’s just had some good games for France so his value has increased. He won’t play for UTD again now. We’ve seen the last of him. Plus his image and brand guarantee income for wherever he ends up so you are buying more than just a player. £75mil arriverdeeci
