At least tonight hurt the Glazers in some ways. We lose completely the money on knockout stages of both Champions League and Europa League. I gotta say, that costs them way more than any protests we have conducted in the last few years.

So not completely a doom and gloom evening like many are making out to be.

That is great news.

If it hits them them in the wallet all well and good. Let's hope someday someone kicks them in the bollocks one day.

Well it really means the club lose more money, The Glazers don't have anything invested to lose and are about to picket a billion, so I don't see it as a win whatsoever.

Only silver lining is there's fewer games to watch this season, and on a less glib note, Ten Hag has more time to implement whatever it is he's trying to do.

I know what you're saying. The other week I was attacked in a bar. The guy was much stronger than me, so I started shitting my pants in self-defence. Proper diarrhea! Sure, I lost the fight but the culprit got covered in a good amount of shit while he had me in a headlock. All the women laughed at him.

We're already in an FFP hole and this will be even less revenue.

There's no silver lining here.

It wouldn't surprise me soon if there's stories we have to sell players in January just to balance the books.

It just means less money to spend on players next summer.
So what, United waste what we have anyways.

I’m perversely with the OP on this. Until the stupid yanks cop on that they are stupid at all things football related , we are stuck with these f**cktards wasting away the clubs resources. Maybe a hit to their pockets might jolt a change.

The silver lining is that we can now finally have some much needed time on the training pitch. And our lack of depth won't be as much of an issue.

Don't give a shit anymore. The club is just too far gone. Anyone think that this group of players should finish bottom of this group? It's abysmal and ETH should be on his bike.

They're not going to lose any sleep over this. However a large amount of staff at MUFC are on zero hour contracts, less games means significantly less work until next season. Two weeks before Christmas.

You can be sure that when the club loses out, it’s not coming out of the Glazers’ cut.

You honestly think anyone cares about glazers money?

Feck me.
Id take relegation if it got rid of the thick yanks, we are winning nothing of significance while those leprechauns have any say in club affairs.

I don’t think some people realise how f**cking stupid they have been with the club. A retarded monkey could of gotten a better return from transfers and built a more balanced squad.

Yes. They are not good enough.

I said it in another thread, finishing third was catastrophic because it raised expectation levels across the board and it means the imbeciles in the media and within our fan base had ideas about their station.

We have a squad of players who are capable of a battle for top 4 at best. Add in the fact that we’ve been unlucky/shat the bed in the CL this season and this is what you get.

We are about where we deserves to be with the players and coach we have.

The Glazers deserve everything that comes to them with their shite ownership over the years.

They'll take whatever money they need from the club. They're taking the vast majority of the money from Jim's investment too.

No I agree I just can't see how this result and being dead last in a absolute shit group could be seen as good enough for a manager to keep his job at Utd while having spent 400m. Maybe he is doing us a favour.

Blessing in disguise.

No European football this season, not even Europa League, also means the opportunity to qualify for next season's Champions League by winning the Europa League has gone. No chance we qualify through the league.

Congratulations to the Glazer family. Happy days. That bastard family deserves everything it gets.

I'd put good money on that the Glazers didn't even know United was playing tonight never mind knowing they were knocked out of Europe.

The only thing that's going to get cut is our transfer budget
Not true. Players will not receive Champions league appearance or bonuses. If United do not qualify for the competition next season, their annual salary will be slashed as well.

I am 100% up for our players wages getting cut. That's a silver lining worth its weight.

4 out the 6wa*#rs wouldn't. But the one who thinks he looks cool in a leather jacket and the other dick head with a crap ponytail who walks a dog in a pram probably would.

The amount of money they may lose is insignificant compared to the amount of money the club is losing. The club generally spend around 95% of its revenue. Celebrating a loss of revenue because the Glazers may make one less million is strange.

Good to not have meaningless Thursday games to think about. Game not too bad considering where the team level is at. Against Bayern who is pretty complete team and is regularly competing for CL trophy and they will also be thereabouts this year in CL. For United the only trophy this year to think about is EPL top 5 trophy. Get a recognizable pattern of play. Get better players to play it. It is simply unacceptable that we have to play players like McT, Amrabat and we don't have anything better. Blood Mainoo he can't be any worse. Our gameplay is not so far of but execution especially in the attaching third is horrendous. Garnacho, Antony, Rashford can't get past the player to save their life. Pelistri is not good enough. Hojlund is getting in some good positions, has some good runs but gets absolutely no service at all, the only thing he gets are lumped balls to chase, and when in promising spots to receive a pass in penalty area he has wingers who are shooting every chance they get instead of pass. Wan Bissaka is a liability in defense, Dalot a close second. Onana shaky. Sell Rashford and Martial.

We need CB, wingbacks, wingers, midfilders and strikers in january. :)

Why the Glazers will lose money? At any time, they can make United take another loan and pocket the money.

The owners do not lose money, the club loses money. For any owners. For any club. The money the owners have and the money the club has, are not the same thing!
