He is/was a change/transitional manager, he is not a manager for growth.

It's similar to Mourinho in the sense if Mourinho went at the end of 17/18 you'd probably say he did a pretty good job here. But he stayed on and we had a disastrous last 4 or 5 months under him.

Ole is the same, I know we won nothing but if he'd left at the end of last season you could say he did a decent job. The start to this season has been so catastrophically bad it will poison his entire reign.

We do not .. if you think about it carefully..
We'll need a whole midfield after this season.

Maguire is a misfit for modern and progressive football, the same as DDG and AWB. That's already 4 or 5 new starters needed.

Legacy. We are all defined
Honestly can't separate the player from the manager at this point, feck him.

He knows he's not good enough yet he persist in drowning us for his own benefit.
Feck you too

His legacy..... Won nothing, spent a lot of money and still hasn't got rid of Perreira or Jones.

it’s his only big job now. Will never get another one close to it. He’s done at this level. If he has the backing of the club and belief in himself, then he won’t walk. This call should on the the clubs head.
Oh, the people above him are idiots, no one is arguing that. But Ole can see what it happening and how he is destroying the club. Even a complete outsider like LVG offered his resignation when things were not going well (Ed refused it), so we should expect the same from a legend who loves the club, right?

And he is settled for life anyway. Has been paid 30m or so in his career from the club, so he does not exactly need the money.

Overrated signings that's going to be a serious problem for the new manager.

Appreciate his work in sorting out the squad but on the field he’s a million miles away from being good enough

He’s done nothing wrong as a manager. Just well out of his depth

Tried his best and gave his all. But now it's time for the big boys to step in and show us they have what it takes.

Other than AWB the other players replacements are already in the club..

No, it's McFred. The 2 players first on the team sheet and they're still on the field as we speak.

Ole: Beat southampton 9-0, lost against Sheffield 1-0 the week after, qualify to the EL final, bottle it, qualify to 3 semi-finals, bottle it, go on the longest away streak, get smashed against leicester, sign varane, can't keep a clean sheet, sign vdb, bench him, chase sancho for 2 summers, bench him, believe the tactics worked against atalanta, get smashed against Liverpool, he's just not the right person to take us forward, he did what he could do and brought back of the united element to the players but that's about it, I have been supporting Ole since day one but he just doesn't know how to make use of the squad.

The “progress” of buying top quality players, many of which he has no interest in playing

Out of his depth manager who was only supported because he was the opposite of Jose and a club legend. Had some decent spells but overall our performances have always been crap. Should have been sacked years ago.

Solksjaer did well to rescue the side from the utter mess that Mourinho left the squad in. He brought things back to basics, made us harder to beat, and signed quality players in order to make the step up to CL qualification again.

But when we got to the stage where we were expected to dominate teams, we simply couldn't. The limitations of his coaches and he have been shown to everyone. We don't play with a system that gets the most out of our very talented forward line. Nor do we play with a system that gets the best our our individually talented defenders. We can no longer sit deep and hit on the counter. And when we can't we look terrible.

As a manager he's joint bottom with Moyes.

If this farce goes on much longer he'll be the standout worst manager in club history.

Made us harder to beat like today?

He's done nothing is his time here other than not be toxic.

He moved the squad in the right direction IMO. But pretty much everyone got carried away with the bounce we got after Jose left, the club felt forced into hiring him to stop a fan backlash and everyone seemed to forget the only managerial experience he had of top level football was getting relegated.

This is a self-inflicted wound that the fans who wanted him have to accept they've caused.
This is absurd. If supporters had that power, Glazers would've sold the club long ago.
The truth is Ole is their "perfect" manager, in theory. Low maintenance, no big ego, has good relationship with the fans, would never publicbly criticize club nor owners. Well, Ole has everything that Glazers want, except for the result on the football pitch, which ultimately the only thing that matters.

His "legacy" is spending 400 million and winning f*ck all in 3 years. Oh, and not being Mourinho.

SAF lost 1-6 at home against City. It can happen. But Moyes was a far worse manager.
1-6 against City was nowhere near as bad as this. It was 1-3 going into stoppage time before we went completely gung-ho in the final few moments and they just picked us off from there.
