Just saw on the news, that yet another hostage has been taken - and yet another tape have been sent to this arabic channel, Al Jazheera (sp?). - As usual the iraqis wants the appropiate country to move out of Iraq (inside 24 hours) - but South Korea just answered that they would continue what they're doing in Iraq + increase the numbers of soldiers.

I'm affraid we'll see another execution very soon...

another barbaric beheading...... :( I may be being a bit thick here but surely a dead hostage holds no value?

I heard that he has been found, and handed to the South Koreans - so technically he's not a hostage anymore...

Seriously though... normally you'd be right - but the difference from a normal hostage-situation must be, that you don't know where the murderers are, and there's still plenty of hostages to take...

I'm sorry if I sound a little cold, but do these 'terrorists' REALLY think that an entire country will pull its forces out because an unheard of helper (builder, translator, maintenance, etc) of the nationality has been or will be executed...I'm sorry, but I don't understand the logic here...

what they will achieve is no more foreign workers going there (apart from military)
Then they'll have no-one to snatch
