They are supposed to land back with retrothrusters, also?
That's not unusual, big tech compensation outstrips comp at aerospace/manufacturing even for CompSci related roles. The CS-related salaries seem quite lower than those of big tech companies nearby.
I’d imagine they’ll use modern ones./sThey are supposed to land back with retrothrusters, also?
Reproted.I’d imagine they’ll use modern ones./s
They get there tomorrow. How long will it take to get to ISS?
What will the astronauts do at ISS for the time they are there? Anyone else there right now?
@BD about to launch if you're around
I guess so. Though I always was under impression that SpaceX (and Tesla too) have salaries on par with Google and co. when it comes to CompSci roles. That's not unusual, big tech compensation outstrips comp at aerospace/manufacturing even for CompSci related roles.
Just said the same thing out loud to my cat. That feed cutting out just as it was landing will have set many a conspiracy theorist off
Probably the first stage landing interfered with the satellite signal. That feed cutting out just as it was landing will have set many a conspiracy theorist off
I missed it! Thanks though. There we go!
First guy to lead the agency who is a politician and not a former astronaut.Hearing the nasa administrator lick Trump's balls live on tv is nauseating.
Former GOP representative. Is this guy Jim a GOP politician, or a professional astronaut?
Oh God. What the feck is wrong with America? Why everything is so politicized and why for positions which should be occupied from professionals (technocrats), they put politicians.Former GOP representative.
The best episode ever IMOWho else is watching Homer Simpson in Space after this?
If it was just before you posted, probably not as it was coasting unpowered at that point.Swear I just saw it go over. Really bright light from the south, then a very fast moving flight with a massive trail behind it flying from south to east direction in the sky?
Could just be a plane but seems a big coincidence that there was an incredibly bright circle of light from that direction too? Was moving very fast. Didn’t get the light on vid.If it was just before you posted, probably not as it was coasting unpowered at that point.
Looks like a plane to me, but to be honest I haven't seen one of those in months so you never know! See if any other vids pop up.Could just be a plane but seems a big coincidence that there was an incredibly bright circle of light from that direction too? Was moving very fast. Didn’t get the light on vid.
You'd think given how much CGI used for the rest of the missions, they'd have it ready for big stuff like landing as well. The feed kept cutting out at the big moments, like the stage landing.
Someone I'm watching with has gone off all conspiracy, it's brilliant
