Surely nailed on to Real Madrid?

Surely nailed on to Real Madrid?

I think Real Madrid will be all over him considering Zidane and the kind of player they go after, wouldn't say no to United throwing everything to get him, especially if they get Sancho this summer and perhaps another player.

if United get a player like Sancho and somehow pull of a signing (which is very unlikely) another Summer it's basically having a team that will compete for 10 years at the top which has been a long time coming.

That's IF he leaves, which I can see is unlikely, maybe Neymar is planning to leave for all we know.

Lovely little teaser at the end of that article: “According to a close friend, Mbappé’s interest in English football also extends to Manchester United”.

After paragraphs of Mbappé saying how great Liverpool are, insinuating that’s his only possible destination.

Wouldnt he cost 150+m? Not sure who is buying him at that price.

Absolutely zero chance Liverpool buy him. The fee would be exorbitant.

Liverpool can’t afford Werner never mind Mbappe. I think Real or City and maybe us depending on how we do this season.

He's coming home.

Real bound for sure if this is indeed true. I think the idea of Liverpool being able to afford him in a years time is absolutely hilarious when you've seen how they've acted this window.

I would say north of 250 million euros. No way PSG let their crown jewel leave for anything other than a completely ridiculous amount.

Liverpool couldn’t afford Jamal fecking Lewis and apparently they can afford Mbappe?

His contract will expire eventually if he really wanted to leave

You’re missing that he’s got a year left on his contract next summer. This move and its timing was always the plan. He’ll go for about 150m if Real can cough it up. If not he’ll see out his contract and go on a free.

Does his contract really run out in 2022?

I'm surprised PSG only gave him a 4 year contract considering his age and how much money they spent on him.

Not guaranteed he goes to Real. They may be looking at Haaland too.

Has Real written all over him. He will cost more than 200m, PSG are in a strong position.

Edit: if his contract runs out in 2022, then that is different. Around 150m then next summer. Liverpool could only afford him if they sell Salah or Mane

Can Real afford him?

Unfortunately I see City going all out for him.

Yep, and if he winds his contract down, he'll go Madrid.

Hypothetical, who would entertain a deal for Mbappe that contained Pogba?

That’s true of course.

It never works out like that. You don’t get a team for 10 years.

I think he’s nailed on to go to Madrid. It would be exciting to see him in the PL.

He should deffo leave PSG if he wants to improve and become the top player his talent deserves.

It was 5 years if you include the year he was on 'loan' from Monaco.

Everyone.

Without turning it into a Pogba thread, I think the vast amount of supporters would be prepared to let him go given his contract situation, age and the fact he’s never quite fitted in - if it meant getting one of the most most exciting attacking players in the world.

Yeah, my thoughts really. Think that would be the only way we'd be able to afford him as well.

Let me be the first to say MMMM

I think Rashford would need to go also (on the assumption Sancho would have arrived).

Madrid is the obvious one but I could see him at Barcelona to replace Messi, who could well go the other way to play a few more years at an easier pace.

City will be in for him as will we, and hes definitely going to leave. Think he knows he's wasted in France.
