 Cheers mate. It did feel underwhelming going for a fecking 11th pick in the original drafting, but I rate him very highly, and I'm basically just changing things around each match for fun now.
Yeah, fantastic player, we considered fielding him for both rounds tbh. Like Borussia itself by Bayern, he got outshined by Müller in an all-time context, despite being incredibly prolific and quite versatile forward

Aye, we desperately tried to fit him in but didn't manage to. Really looking forward to see how you utilise him

A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.

Aye, his ability to play all across the front line really appealed to me here.

I wasn't entirely sure I was going to start with him (was considering just going with my team from the first round + Cabrini), but that's settled it . I'm honestly not sure how he'll be perceived in this set up but it'll be interesting to tease out a bit more about him in the match thread.

Final reinforcement round!
Pre final reinforcements will be conducted in Sheep Format. The two finalists will submit 4 players, 2 picks and 2 blocks each, for three rounds. This means you can can add up to 2 player to your team and you will exit the round as soon as you have two successful picks but you will still be able to send block pick in each round your opponent participates. If your opponent successfully blocks a player you will get a fail for the other player as well, if you want you can go the same route the other round as the only way the player will be added to the block list if both managers go for the same player, in that case that player is removed from the pool while the other pick will get a fail.

So we have to have two passes in the same round to add a player? As if we pick A and B and Skizzo blocks B we get fail for both picks and we enter the next round again with two picks and two blocks?

Just a thought: Going sheep for this double reinforcement adds quite a dose of regular draft/competition/one-on-one...ishness to the thing.

So, perhaps you should just release the shackles completely for the final – and treat it as a regular draft match, i.e. people vote for the best team.

There's something odd about abandoning the basic premise for the final, of course, but there you go. I struggle to see how anything truly game changing (literally speaking) could occur at this stage in the form of upgrades.

Unless one team (or both) go for something very left field in terms of how the main man is deployed. But that would be pure novelty, really – which isn't really in line with the original premise either.

Just throwing it out there, since the consensus seems pretty clear on the matches having become a bit meh.

CAVEAT: Haven't studied the squads, so there may be an advantage in there for one of the teams - in which case you can't do it this way, of course.

Aye, it would jazz things up for the neutrals, and there's no clear advantage with the designated players. It'd be quite fitting in that regard really, with Mazzola and Rivera having spent much of their Italy careers competing for one place. Entirely understandable if the managers don't fancy it though, having not drafted for it.
