Which ones awful? The old one was fine but i don't know if they still had that when you were on. The new one, if that was the one...is shite yes.

Restrictions. For peoples safety either personal/computer viruses etc (links) and swearing because it's a family club. When you weigh that against the alternative obviously the board would suffer; but it doesn't mean it's shite

You can have a decent discussion. Please, if you hung out in the tevez thread all the time - ie the transfer forum...what'd you expect? There are plenty of registered people there, more then this site and incidently the maturity on this site isn't that high.....lol

That's not a real critisism, it's great but when you talk maturity what difference is there between an actual 12 year old and people that act 12 :)

This is ridiculous.

I've said it's shite, others have said it's shite, even you have admitted aspects of it are shite. Now, until you find someone that actually likes it, and can give valid reasons as to why, you have no case to argue.

Son you clueless. It's to protect people wanting to use the board and it's a real danger in this day and age with more people meeting having 'met' online...you really don't have a clue

On the website, it's for people to discuss and all these rules are to protect 1) people 2) minors. Now maybe you think nothing of anyones safety but others do and that's why you should think before you open your mouth

People get abducted every 5 damn minutes and your saying their is no responsiblity....give me a break

I actually found Striker's posts quite interesting and could see his points regarding the use of these sites. Your opinion might be that the site is shite but then as a WUM your opinion counts for very little in my opinion.

I understand your points and thought you expressed them quite clearly... online safety is very important, as an adult (especially if you have kids) its a good thing to be aware of.

You can say anything on here. Many do. If you talk shite someone's gonna tell you about it for sure. Almost instantaneously. It's good stuff. Interwebs as it should be.

For what its worth, when I came to the US back in '04, I turned to United forums to discuss all things United. Naturally, the official one was the first I visited and became a member of. I have to say that it was utterly shite for a very large number of reasons that I cannot even begin to recount. The appearance was indeed shit, but not a patch on the drivel that formed 95% of its content. An r-13 board, eh?, seemed more like a board exclusively for 13 year olds.

Makes the caf look like the home of football experts and that takes some fecking doing.

It depends on what you view a success. They get the hits and unfortunately the tits (though they're censored ;)). A thread on the caf is hardly going to get people going oh i love it now is it, bearing in mind this ain't talking reds...It would beg the question why you here? :)
