We would have won the league without Cantona. He would have left Leeds anyway, it had already started unravelling. We were also already a very good side.
We were in 8th place when Cantona signed. Cant imagine us winning the league with the lack of goals we had in our side at the time. We'd only scored 14 goals all season.

Fun fact to put some perspective on nostalgic youtube clips - Moyes' season where we finished 7th had a better goals/game ratio than this fast, attacking, title winning 92/93 side.

That does surprise me...But, to put things into context, the early years of the EPL did not comprise mini-leagues of 4-6 big teams, a handful of steady mid-table teams and 12 relegation contenders. Plus United had a huge psychological burden that season (25 years without a league title and a late collapse just months earlier in 91/92).
