I chose the player I want to build my team around and then worked out which would be the best few years around the date to get other players in. There are a hell of a lot of players to choose from.

There are only a few years between Ecstatic and Enigma too.

Ecstatic and Enigma have one year overlap. Your thought process as stated is entirely reasonable it just seems unlikely that you chose precisely the same 6 years as me independently. As to why you may (I am not saying you did) do it, laziness or just to have fun chucking a spanner in the works. Whilst there are a lot of players there are particular types who are very thin on the ground.

Since he's in middle of pack, I don't see any tangible benefits in knowing his position before choosing. Also most "big" clubs have already been taken.

Whoever is assigned the club category gets randomised. Let say Idmanager is first he would take 11th place taking Skizz's position. All you would do is move around the four club picking positions based on the initial role. Anyway as it's in the middle as Eap notes it won't be an issue anyway
