Roy Keane - Manager until the end of the season
Gary Neville - Assistant Manager
Paul Scholes - Coach
Rio Ferdinand - Assistant Coach
Beckham - Assistant Coach

Temporary Director of football - Sir Alex Ferguson

None of those mentioned would turn down the opportunity. United men through and through. If it works keep them. If it doesn't hire permanent choices at the end of the season.

My bet is we get top 4 and win a cup if that happens.
Yes, we'll solve this via cronyism.

I don’t think SAF is healthy enough for DoF role. The stress that would come with the role due to the state of club would be too much.

Exactly. Sanchez, Pogba, Rashford, Fred, Martial, Mata. I am not saying we've got the necessary quality to win the EPL. However, we've got enough talent to do far better then we're currently doing.
That’s the whole point, no is screaming for titles but the bear minimum with what’s available at his disposal we should be playing attractive high energy football fearing no one instead we’re setting up like relegation fodder even against worst kind of opposition.

Carragher talking sense, signing a CB wouldn't have mattered as much as everyone is making out.

He has to go.

Yeah 100%. It's the overall style of play.
It was disturbing to watch today at times, it was like a lower league club away at a giant.

We are only 1 point ahead of Wolves and 2 ahead of Everton.. lack of a CB signing cannot be used as an excuse for our current position. Spurs didn't sign a single player and had finished behind us last season.

I'm not saying all we needed was a defender mate! We have a lot of glaring issues, but we also have some fantastic players too.

Why have we not even pretended to sign a right winger for one question?

Why are the Liverpool ex players talking more sense.

It reminds me of when Carragher genuinely sounded upset at how sh!t we were in Moyes days after that Everton away. THAT was when it was obviously over.
We're closing in on that, but not quite there.

Jardim is still available atm? Get him in now, so he can take a look at the squad and decide who stays/goes.
I keep saying that. Anyone has twitter? Please can you twitter United? I'm sorry I don't have any Facebook twitter accounts. Maybe if we bombard them a lightbulb might go off in Ed's thick head?

Keane on Sky doing his best to keep Jose in the job. Horrible

You have to remember that Keane has had massive issues with players in all of his coaching/management. That's where his sympathy for managers comes from.

Sounds like a top reds wet dream!

Any better suggestions then??

Go all out for Poch in the summer. Failing that start looking at other options to tap them up for the summer.
We are still Man Utd after all. We should be able to take a manager off a smaller team (not necessarily meaning Tottenham there) for compensation, rather than go for an out of contract freebie like the last 3 times.

 We really are turning into Liverpool, the state of this post. We need to move forward and stop obsessing over the past.

You can guarantee Sir Bobby said to Ed “This football isn’t Man Utd” or something similar.

Jose is done. That fecking Newcastle result effected us, we needed to lose that for the long term health of Utd.

Well it's going to cost them far more if they don't put the disgusting pride aside. I won't hold my breath though. I work in the corporate world and have never met one director who ever owns up to their mistakes. Instead, they just keep compounding it.
The difference is that the public doesn't see this. Ed really needs to grow a pair.

I know what you mean. I work with in the corporate world as well and its all about protecting their own interests. One problem I often see is boards protecting their CEO just because their position can be in trouble if not. I dont see that our board can get away from this one though.

IF he's available. IF he wants to leave Tottenham.

Nurse!

Southampton sacked Hughes and today won against Arsenal, their first home win since April. Why can't a similar move for us bring a change in fortunes?

What planet are you on?

Of course we need to take more action than sacking Mourinho. Jesus Christ.

But he's running the show. He's the bloody manager! He's 80% of it.

Didn't Mourinho a while ago say that he's more of a coach rather than manager at Man Utd? I think we underestimate how much is controlled by others at the club.

Things that won’t change when Jose is sacked

- The new manager wont be responsible for contracts. That will be Ed

- The new manager wont choose how we prepare for a season, where we Tour, when or who we play. That will be Ed

- The new manager wont have final say on who we sell. That will be Ed (I’m sure the new manager will have input)

- The new manager won’t handle player sales. That will be Ed

- The new manager wont buy players. That will be Ed (I’m sure the new manager will have input)

So if you think Zidane walks in and our problems are solved, think again.

This isn’t even a defence of Jose per se’, it’s a cry for people to realise that a non-footballing accountant is making key footballing decisions at our club, usually in the interests of making money for shareholders. I’d like to know which manager could thrive in this environment because two CL winners have now failed

I don't think he would want to admit to being a coach when no player has improved and there's no obvious style of play.

I wonder how much Faria going has brought him down.

No place for King Eric the Great in that group?

Ed would have my undying respect if he just fessed up and said I fecked up. Hell Mourinho's swindled Perez and Abramovich (no idiots those). He will look far worse if he doesn't arrest the situation at the moment.

Mind you, corporate types, especially finance types, have no emotional intelligence or empathy. They only see bloody numbers. I can't say they have much vision as well (from my experience). I guess I'm not surprised. i think only our sponsors can put the pressure on.

Please tell me, you made that up, even if you didnt, say you did.

Sorry mate but I have a 2 month baby crying at home and a tired missus trying to calm her down, knowing very well, how pissed off a humiliating defeat against Liverpool + Mourinho can make me. If I don't vent my anger here then I've got nowhere were I can.

Nah, he’s not. Even Ferguson wasn’t 80% of it. The one thing you should take away from City is how much groundwork they have done for Pep. He was just the final piece of the jigsaw.

Blimey. How mouthwatering is that. Kill or cure eh.

Except for Sir Alex. I think it would be very unfair to expect him to come back especially after his health scare.
But otherwise, would be interesting.
