Things that won’t change when Jose is sacked
- The new manager wont be responsible for contracts. That will be Ed
- The new manager wont choose how we prepare for a season, where we Tour, when or who we play. That will be Ed
- The new manager wont have final say on who we sell. That will be Ed (I’m sure the new manager will have input)
- The new manager won’t handle player sales. That will be Ed
- The new manager wont buy players. That will be Ed (I’m sure the new manager will have input)
So if you think Zidane walks in and our problems are solved, think again.
This isn’t even a defence of Jose per se’, it’s a cry for people to realise that a non-footballing accountant is making key footballing decisions at our club, usually in the interests of making money for shareholders. I’d like to know which manager could thrive in this environment because two CL winners have now failed
I don't think he would want to admit to being a coach when no player has improved and there's no obvious style of play.
I wonder how much Faria going has brought him down.
Go on then. Make a suggestion on how to solve the problem at hand.
He ain't no coach. It's clear the players aren't coached properly. He's a big fat fail at coaching. Plus, he was just talking nonsense as usual.Didn't Mourinho a while ago say that he's more of a coach rather than manager at Man Utd? I think we underestimate how much is controlled by others at the club.
Roy Keane's time with Ireland was made up of him giving some quotes in press conferences which kept the media happy as they had good copy but also with controversies of him falling out with players and criticism that there was no real hands-on coaching. He's a peasants version of Jose Mourinho, who is already shit, you're completely right that it would be a disaster.Definitely not by just putting people in positions they are shite at.
All? Are you sure?
Most managers never get the chance to mount a recovery nowadays, but Wenger is a good antidote to Ferguson. My point is that it is the easiest thing in the world to rail against a manager, and once he’s been sacked he essentially never has the opportunity to prove he wouldn’t have been a failure. This gets said a lot but it's not an argument to retain Mourinho - Fergie's recovery was a rarity, most managers who perform poorly are just a bit rubbish, and tend not to mount a recovery wherein they end up becoming one of the best managers of all-time afterwards.
Do it!I've got a ticket for a match in January. If he's still there I will take my white hanky. Don't care if anyone looks at me funny like. Will have it out waving. Look out for me on TV
So yeah. Not all.90% yes.
He said it when the rumours first came out that we were getting a DOF - which pissed him off as he saw it as his power dwindling. He was being facetious and provocative with that comment. He doesn't see himself as just a coach. He thinks he's betterI wish I could remember exactly when he said it. I think it was more of a comment from him on how he is limited in his influence on all aspects of the club. Evidently he's not doing great with the coaching bit either though

I sat behind the Barca fans at camp nou waving their white hankies. That was 10 mins into a game in a season where Barca ultimately won the league.I fecking will! No joke! Sick of it. Plus I always wanted to know how it would feel to do the hanky wave a la Madrid fans
Today was surely the final proof for any remaining Jose loyalists. He can’t even go away in a big fixture and grind out a result anymore. He’s finished as a top level manager.
He's not limited in my opinion. He has too much power. You never give too much power in one person's hands - especially not when that person has a track record of being unstable in his previous employments. He's not Sir Alex. It's a completely different situation. That's not the point of my post though. Whether he's doing a good job at coaching isn't exactly relevant. The point is that hesh limited in the decisions he can make at the club, and unless something drastically changed, so will be the next manager
Come join me Red Curry! I absolutely will have my white hanky there.I sat behind the Barca fans at camp nou waving their white hankies. That was 10 mins into a game in a season where Barca ultimately won the league.
I feel like this is said every other week and I agree.
I just know the club won't do anything though
Sacking him tonight just feels right to me.

Edit - Those Madrid and Barca fans do not joke. They are not settling for mediocrity. Gotta respect that.
Carragher talking sense, signing a CB wouldn't have mattered as much as everyone is making out.
He has to go.
Agreed and twitter to all relevant press peopleWe should reset this poll and make it public, to weed out the trolls and opposition fans.
It does actually, we won't make top 4 with him so the question is does Woodward have the balls to pull the trigger earler this time around?
Am going to Brighton at home. Dunno if any tickets are left. Really going cause my Brighton supporting mate is going and we'll have a day out and some drinksHaha which game are you going to? I’ll see if I can find tickets.
