As has been said in another forum ealier, the new transfer window is a curse to us.

If it was still the old system, I'm sure Fergie should have bought someone during this period, just like he bought Dwight Yorke in 1998.

However, now we can't do anything to our underacheived team until January, and even if we do something at that time, that will be too late.

'This period'? Yorkie was signed at around August 20, a few days after the Premiership season started.
