While Putin continues an active measures campaign to influence the 2018 elections, he has found another useful idiot to promote cooperation to the general public.

The surefire way to trap Trump is for Mueller to state that someone else masterminded the Russian hacking; Trump won't be able to resist taking credit for it. ;)

"Our investigation concluded that candidate/President-elect Trump lacked the mental capacity required to conduct such an ingenious scheme..."

You say it lightly but for real, they are Trumps force to do with as he pleases. Go and harass this person, yes sir. Vote for that person, ya sir. CNN is fake news, we hate CNN sir.

He's going to get someone killed soon...
You need to expand The people you interact with.

You only had to hear the exit polls last night to hear angry republicans giving reasons for voting democrat. Many republicans do not like the rhetoric of Trump, but they are just as mad about the lefts rhetoric.

The hate and rhetoric from the far left really does not do the democrats any favors. The democrat moderates butt slapped the socialists last night. These moderates need a brand and message focused on their policies not outcomes. Repeatedly saying equality of opportunity is meaningless as other parties will copy the message. It is the policies and approach which differentiates the parties not the outcome. Democrats never say how they will achieve their outcomes.

As for republicans they have a message which is resonating whether you believe it or not. Americans first, safety and choice is compelling. Trumps rhetoric is ignored because actions are louder than words. When the left resist everything good or bad they lose swing or independent voters.

I get to listen to CNN in the airport's. It is a shite channel. You can have labor or GDP figures being announced and they will spend next to no time reporting on it. Their prime purpose appears to misinform, you can say exactly the same with fox. Watch a C-Span public session with some committee. Then switch to CNN and Fox. The info provided is twisted beyond recognition. This is a disservice to the people. Add click bait and you get misinformation going viral. The media has been instrumental in dividing the national. It is they that are likely to get someone killed. Categorising a whole section of voters as racist, sexist, Islam phobic...etc is hardly bringing people together.

What does this have to do with my assertion that he has complete control over his acolytes? Those people at the rallies, and defending him on Twitter, etc... will do anything he commands them to.

The very first paragraph implied that just because people go to a rally does not mean they will vote for him. There are lots of republicans who chose not to vote or voted against the republican. Hardly the cult that some people make out. They may all get up, clap and sing CNN sucks doesn't mean they are anti the other side and likely to kill someone. Seems the danger of someone being killed is coming from the left driven by left wing media presenting non-left voters as evil.

And as far as I know there isn't a republican called Chris Coleman. Isn't it Chris Collins?

I think Sara Sanders is technically Huckabee-Sanders as her parents are called Huckabee... unless she was very unfortunate and they gave her Huckabee as a middle name.
He may have confused Chris Collins with the former footballer Chris Coleman. And we also have Donald Drumpf :smirk:

Trump fans have already killed people. They’re the most deadly group of terrorists in America at the moment!

ADL’s Center on Extremism has been tracking data on domestic extremist-related murder in the U.S. since 1970. The 2017 assessment found:

  • With 34 total deaths, 2017 was the fifth deadliest year for extremist violence since 1970, but there was a marked decline from the much higher total fatalities recorded in 2016 and 2015.
  • The 18 white supremacist murders included several killings linked to the alt right as that movement expanded its operations in 2017 from the internet into the physical world – raising the likely possibility of more such violent acts in the future.

Sorry, but that is complete bollocks. You only have to watch one of the many documentaries about his rallies and supporters that have been made by some of the best journalists from around the world, to know that Trump whips the crowd up to an absolute frenzy and I bet many would kill if he asked them to. You can see the way protesters are dealt with and some have been beaten with Trump egging them on to do so.

Trump is preying on these people's fears and using the fact many are so gullible and desperate. The majority won't fact check him and take his word as truth. Many more don't give a shit if he is lying or not as long as the Dems aren't in power.

Trump has empowered the racists, poor and uneducated and those so desperate they will do anything to catch a break and improve their lives. Of course the biggest irony of all is Trump will only make things much worse for almost everyone except the rich.

Also, you only have to look at the despicable people that endorse Trump to know who he is speaking to. David Duke and many other clan members have come out and spoken in favour of Trump. Even the UK's leading racist feckwit Tommy Robinson is on board the trump train and saying the UK needs his type of leadership and policies.

The biggest danger aside from Trump and his ilk and band of followers are people who make out he's not that bad really when he's literally one of the most dangerous and despicable people on the planet.

I could quite easily counter that with BS. Trump does wind the audience up, but not to attack other voters. His rallies are comical to an extent, but he does not tell voters to seek out dem voters or suggest people should be vigilantes. Sure he goes on about Fake news and they go crazy, He attacks dem or republican politicians that cross, shock horror that's new. For you to say he is a dangerous man is way OTT, dispicable maybe, but dangerous. As for David Duke until the election I had never heard of him. But it became clear that people like him and Farrakhan though opposite extremes are more associated with dems than republicans. They are dangerous.

He’s been reading watching the fall out of the Ohio race being so damn close when it would have been a 20+ point victory pre-Trump and was for 30+ years. He knows a blue wave isn’t coming so he’s painting his own Red reality again.

He is a very dangerous man.
Do you mind clarifying what you mean by your last sentence?

He was the GOP senate candidate (uncontested primary) and got 43% of the vote.
He then won the nomination for the governors post as the GOP candidate (beating internal GOP opposition) and got 39% in the general.

I see that you've also not responded about "left violence" in light of the stats I posted, which clearly show that the overwhelming majority (71-3) of the violence comes from the right.

Edit - as a contrast, he got 0.19% of the vote in the 1988 Dem primary.

Multiple sources familiar with the so-called “Omarosa tapes” described the recorded conversations between Trump and Manigault as anodyne, everyday chatter, but said they did appear to feature Trump’s voice, either over the phone or in-person.
So nothing really.

He literally told people at rallies that he’d cover their legal fees if they beat up opposition protestors.

He’s linking David Duke and the KKK to the modern Democratic Party... Which is like linking the 1900s Progressive movement with the modern Republican Party.
By ignoring Duke's solid showing (twice) as a GOP candidate in Louisiana.
