Injuries is not really a valid excuse, chelsea have also had serious injuries to key players throughout the season.
Kante missed pre season due to injuries, he came into the season with an injury and has had a stop start season .
Pulisic, who is the creative outlet in the team got injured early January, he only just returned to full fitness post lockdown.
Key players like Rudiger, Abraham, James, CHO and RLC have all had long spells out due to injuries.

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
That's how annoying you guys have been.
Not sure how Chelsea have been that annoying this season. Lampard? The players? Nah. You've beat us 3 times this season so you can't be bitter about any on field stuff.

If fans on here have annoyed you enough to want Man City to succeed then I'll chuckle and say fair enough!

I'm talking about the fans on this forum or Chelsea boards.

Seen enough if Chelsea fans treating the table position(Chelsea being above us the entire season practically) as the end all be all which means it'd be funny seeing Chelsea dropping out this late.

As far as Lampard is concerned I've always liked the guy, as a player and as a bloke in general.

Would take Chelsea over city any day.

Then again, reckon Chelsea's team with their new signings are on the up, and city are due a revamp, so may be best if Chelsea don't get CL next year.

To be fair though, when people were almost confidently predicting we'd do shite under Lampard, with the ban and loss of Hazard, to now be 3rd, it's quite amusing to see how things turned out

Pretty much this. You just have to scroll through the first few pages of this very thread, especially after the 4-0 loss at Old Traford, to see why some would find us annoying right know.
When you consider that both teams were pretty at the same level last season, where it took an upturn of form from us and an implosion on United's part, to secure Chelsea a CL place over them. Then we loose Hazard(who was responsible for almost 50% of our attacking output last season), only able to make Kovacic loan permanent, have to rely on 5 academy players of whom 3 were making their first premier league outing and one was coming back from an Achilles tendon injury.
Then you compare all this to United who went on to spend £130m on their defence, and a further £65m on attack (James and Bruno)+ a manager who has already been with them for half a season...then its understandable that rival and neutral fans won't give us a dog's chance of making top 4 at start of the season. However, rival fans should also understand why we are excited about our team and the prospects of Lampard when after all that, with just 4 matches left of the season, we are 3rd on the table.

Things may change, might as well end up 5th. Regardless I'm very much happy with Lampard and the players and I humbly employ United fans not to get irritated by my confidence in my team on here. I'm not one to keep dark grey clouds on my head for too long. Its just footie after all.

Well I'm very relaxed, we'll beat Sheffield United comfortably I'm very confident about that. I was more concerned with Westham and Crystal Palace as they were both London derbies, we were playing away from home and both teams always raise their game in these fixture.
Sheffield, Norwich and Wolves will be routine wins for us, nothing fancy just professional job done.
If Sheffield United win, I propose this fella gets a name change to "The Chelsea Glaston".

I think Sheffield have a chance in this match.
They are not going to lye down thats for sure.
Even a draw here plus United winning and Rogers Character City winning will be a great base for a cracking top 4 race

I’d rather see Chelsea get in, Duffer

But more than anything I’d rather you and city both revert to your pre-sugar daddy state. And let the proper football teams have a go in the CL

Chelsea battling for 7th with Everton & city fighting for a play off place in league one

You mean in finishing 4th and getting in the Champions League? I'd take that this season!

Given Chelsea have a more difficult run of games remaining, it is actually likely we catch them on points soon - and we have a much better goal differential (9 more) which can play in our favour

Dont actually mind Chelsea tbh, was a fun ride during the Jose and Fergie years, and I'll always have fond memories of good old JT :p

Would rather you get CL than the likes of City (tumescent fan base) and Leicester or Wolves, prefer when England are dominating in europe.

He's a legend around these parts. Add a full membership and I wouldn't mind:wenger:
You are doing shite, its just everybody else was shite as well
This gets thrown around a lot, especially when Manchester United fail to meet the expectations of Manchester United fans and someone else achieve them. “Everyone else was dog shite anyway” until its United who are on top then its “everyone else was great...we were greatest”. Its not just this season nor Leicester's title season, I've seen this said both our title wins.

The race for top 4 has a shit points total. Leicester have made it exciting because they have 4 wins in 12 or something ridiculous. Youve lost 2 more games than Arsenal, 10 in total. You have a worse defensive record than Arsenal and Palace while conceding 1 less than Brighton.
The reason you hear it often is because its true

I can see a draw tbh, looked defensively dodgy against Palace. Let them have 4th
Could be - reckon it'd be an exciting game at least as Chelsea have scored 2+ goals for the last 8 matches. Hopefully our dumbfeck defenders can avoid giving away too many fouls.

Newcastle finished above you. Get below Newcastle

Although they’re going the same way now unfortunately..

Get below Arsenal
Rudest thing I've ever seen on this forum. Shocking stuff.

We made Sheffield Utd look poor but they've been pretty good since the restart, with the sniff of European football back on their agenda, I'd like to think they can sneak a draw. But I won't be shocked if Chelsea find a way to win again, but it won't be pretty.

BTW, that's the Champions League places wrapped up for United. Yay.

And how bad are Chelsea's defenders! Never seen them this bad in 25 years.

I think they'll miss out on CL places if City's ban is overturned.

Bruno only got to United in Feb.

And Pogba was out all season until the restart, and with Rashford/Martial missing half a season between them.

I think that's exactly what the OP was getting annoyed with.

Very hard to argue Chelsea today are at the same level as United today, despite being 2 points ahead in the table.

Of course, this can change for 20-21 with Abra looking to spend 250m+.

They’re in trouble if they lose this. Got Wolves and Liverpool yet and us in the cup, easily the toughest run in.
