Blackpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Blackburn, Stoke

FA Cup games:

Arsenal

CL games:

Bursaspor, Valencia

G.Neville's testimonial

Poor year to be honest. Couldn't get tickets for a lot of the games, including the City, Liverpool, Chelsea prem games, and the Liverpool FA Cup game. On a students budget, I did well to fit all them in to be honest.

Hopefully next year a similar amount of games, maybe 2 or 3 more.

Logically, the pointsystem should be reversed? Seeing a reserve game should show good supportership. Or is the system based on financial costs?

PL home games: 2 (Manchester City, Blackpool)
PL away games: 1 (Stoke)
Champions League home game: 1 (Bursaspor)
+ Gary Neville testimonial
+ FA Youth Cup-final

Not that bad, as I'm from Norway, but could've been even better to be fair.

I also went to City-Poznan in the away end, and a bunch of games in lower divisions as neutral (kind of). And I went to Bolton-Everton the day after the derby in February, and stood in the away end because I wanted to shout nice stuff about Phil Neville without being kicked at.

I'm too tired to do the math, but I guess I'll get quite a few bonus points for being nice to Phil Neville.

That's shameful even by my already unreasonably low standards.

Luckily I win anyway for voluntarily going to a game at West Ham despite not having a skinhead or trying to incite a riot.

My 1st season for 7 years where I did not attend a single Utd match. I choose to go on 2 holidays instead and my budget would not stretch that far

Does that shitty friendly in the Aviva in August count?

I'm giving my vote to PSmith.

Also I would like to mention I got a picture with Fred The Red draped in my Serbian flag. That should count for something. :)

Went to a league game, FA Cup game, CL game and FAYC game; and even that was while stretching my budget. Football, ruddy hell.

I think the point of the thread is to say that only match-going Reds are proper fans, the lads in India who earn peanuts but pay what they got on United replica shirts don't count, the kids in Asia who spend hours adorning their bedrooms with posters of Wayne Rooney don't count or the lads in America and Australia who stay up/get up at ridiculous times of the night or morning to watch us play someone menial like Stoke don't count.

You're a disgrace Elvis, an absolute disgrace as you're forgetting the true nature of Manchester United and what it's all about, and that's foreign hoards purchasing cheap imitation merchandise whilst watching illegal streams on Chinese web-channels...

I don't remember how many times I've been this season :(

Looking at the fixtures I remember I was at the Charity Shield, Newcastle and Fulham games, then I had a break and went to Tottenham at home, Valencia and Arsenal at home, then Tottenham away and City home, then West Ham away and Chelsea Arsenal and Chelsea again and then the final.

That's all I can recall from looking at the fixtures. Based on the criteria I get 31 points which isn't all that bad considering what a busy year I've had!

EDIT: Forgot the semi at Wemberly that takes it to 34 points!

How do you manage to get to aways without being a ST holder?

Do you get more points for each game if you don't live in Britain?

I think you should at least get the same points as you do for an away game in Europe.

I managed to do 15 odd home games in the last two seasons. I had to leave the country and go back home in February though. Doubt I'll be able to afford doing a game for a good year or two. Its hard watching games on the tele after that. Hearing the crowd singing while I sit there alone joining in makes me die a little inside. I feel like a drug addict going through withdrawal symptoms.
