Bailly is suspended
Ah thought he'd served his suspension. Fair enough.Until he has served his suspension at the very least.

I don't think they'd be overly concerned yet tbh. Spurs and Liverpool have been training with their managers for years and are very well-drilled, whereas we've just started with our caretaker manager. Granted we've been scoring, but we're likely not very well-drilled simply going by the fact that Ole hasn't had very long with us. Liverpool are at the top of the table and have hardly conceded, and Spurs are currently free-scoring, whereas as you mentioned we look very fragile defensively. They'd probably just be hoping that our new manager bounce would have worn off by the time we play them. Our players' fitness levels are probably another factor to their advantage over us.You’ve got to wonder what teams like your spurs, pool and that make of us now, under Jose they probably felt we were a bit of a soft touch and not very dangerous. Now we might look like we can be got at but we look dangerous as fook, we are the Honey Badger of the football world.
This is the most logical conclusion.Big Big game. Current manager vs potential future manager.
2-3. United win because it is OGS.
Good riddance.Unfortunately I won't be able to watch this match as I'll be en route to India.
If you’re flying Emirates it should be on.Unfortunately I won't be able to watch this match as I'll be en route to India. I'll be surprised if Spurs lose and I'm expecting a win, but may the spoils go to the better team on the day.
Will probably be our lineup, maybe Jones instead of Smalling. It's strange, this is the first time in ages we can probably predict most of our first 11.
I reckon we'll win this. Kane is my big worry, after bullying our defence last season. But Lindelof is looking shit hot at the moment and has just dealt with Rondon like he was a child.
I fancy us to win the midfield battle fairly comfortably, for me it's just whether or not we can break through their defence enough.
Yeah facing Rondon is a very similar test to Kane in fairness.
It's bizarre tbh. Not to mention the fact that playing for Newcastle means you're going to be isolated as feck anyway because of Rafa's tactics so it's hardly going to be difficult to pocket their striker even if he is half decent.I know man, and also 'like he was a child' - some people are watching games solely in their own heads. Lindelöf had a tidy game against NEWCASTLE FECKING UNITED, and now that bodes well against perhaps the best CF on the planet...….and Lindelöf wasn't even marking bloody Rondon, Jones was the one duelling with him majority of the time.
Some people are mental.
Physically not too dissimilar. Besides, other than an utter wonder goal, Lindelof kept Ronaldo quiet as well. As I say, Kane is my biggest worry, I'm just feeling more confident now that we have a CB who has been performing well.Yeah facing Rondon is a very similar test to Kane in fairness.
Keeping the Premier League's most creative player (Eriksen) quiet is our primary objective - shut him down, shut Spurs down. This responsibility will likely fall on Herrera shoulders, who is just the type of player for such a monumental task. It's bizarre tbh. Keeping Kane quiet at Wembley while he has the likes of Eriksen and Alli around him? A little more testing.
Thought he goes away after the game v us?Got a feeling we're going to win this or get a draw at least. No Son is a big plus for us.
Kane and the rest of the gang are manageable as long as we don't concede an early goal.
The longer it goes without them scoring, the more likely we will win.
Let's see if we can last a bit longer than we did last season in this fixture!Initially I predicted a comfortable spurs victory, howeverh thinking back to last season's PL game, we lost purely because of Jones. He lost the header for the 1st goal then scored an OG.
So I think if we avoid any stupid mistakes (hard I know given our mediocre defenders) and we have a real go at them (they should be knackered after playing Chelsea midweek) we might just come away with something!
Bollocks, I thought he left after the FA cup game...Thought he goes away after the game v us?
Son is not availableYour advantage in this game is the fact that we have a tough League Cup SF 1st leg against Chelsea beforehand, which is what happens when competing on 4 different fronts.
This will be Son's last game before he departs for the Asian Cup, so I'm hoping he wants go out with a bang.
They stream live matches on flights? If you’re flying Emirates it should be on.
Nah, not necessarily. True we're a much lesser team if you can shut Eriksen down, but we have plenty of big threats in the team. Any of Lamela, Alli, Kane, Son, Lucas can be extremely dangerous on their day, we are absolutely not a team reliant on one man. We're at our absolute best when Eriksen is allowed to orchestrate things but that doesn't mean we're lost without him.Keeping the Premier League's most creative player (Eriksen) quiet is our primary objective - shut him down, shut Spurs down. This responsibility will likely fall on Herrera shoulders, who is just the type of player for such a monumental task.
I've got a feeling there is going to be a tonne of goals.
Think he's available for the game, time wise, but South Korea can ask politely if Spurs would consider not using him, and they probably will ask, it's a bloody stupid rule.Son is not available
Yeah, they stream certain matches live on the in-flight system. They stream live matches on flights?
The closest he'll get is getting internet up there and following the game on the CAF or a live article (Guardian).
Our defence will have to be solid if we're to get something out of this. Expecting solid good Fergie performances from all players. The way we have our best players attacking I think we will cause them lots of problems.
Big test for Ole let’s see what he’s got
