Official: Leandro Trossard joins Arsenal from Brighton on a "long-term" contract

Done well for himself this lad.

Mad how he's gone from working behind the bar on First Dates to signing for Arsenal!

More info:

Wolverhampton do not intend to increase their offer for João Gomes. The English team understands they can't do that after having heard a "yes" from Flamengo and having agreed everything verbally. The offer of 17m Euros remains firm. Wolves really want the youngster's arrival. The deadlock continues

Tier 2:

  • Juventus are also interested.
  • Mount currently earns £75k/week but wants to feel valued by the club.
    • Chelsea are open to paying a higher salary.
  • Liverpool are interested in Caicedo, Jude Bellingham, and Matheus Nunes.

Doesn't 2031 make it 8.5? Probably 7.5+1

Who is he? Any good?
Yeah, that was a typo on my end. Thanks for the correction.

Madueke is a very promising winger. He's very tricky and quick as Zaphod alluded to. Besides being injury prone, his end product isn't consistent but is improving. He has a wicked left foot, too.

Official: Danny Ings signs for West Ham from Southampton on a 2.5-year contract. Fee: £12m + £3m in bonuses

Insane. His total transfer fees on transfermrkt is €75.95m. And how is he 30?! I saw him score against Wolves the other day he looked 35.

TEAM INFO. Chelsea, determined to strengthen its defensive sector, is closely interested in the promising Lyon side Malo Gusto. OL want to keep their U23 international but...

Tottenham may likely be without a sporting director after Paratici was handed a 2.5-year ban for his part in Juventus's false valuation scandal.

PSV got the same amount for Gakpo and Noni?
Read somewhere they needed the money from the Gakpo sale.. the Noni sale would be a nice bonus for them.

Source (Tier 3): Alfredo Pedullà via Sportitalia

The full quotes from Pedullà:
There was a negotiation for Zaniolo before and one after the sentence of Paratici. He will not be called up for Spezia and if Roma were to ask for a redemption obligation, it would be a big problem from February 1st onwards. He would become a big problem from there onwards for [Roma’s] management until May.

At 19:00 today [Friday], Tottenham had offered an expensive loan with the obligation to buy linked to qualification in the Champions League or seven/eight goals plus assists from Zaniolo. Roma did not accept this offer.

More info on the contract talks can be found here:

  • Oblak has renewed until 2027. I want to reiterate once again: his contract is NOT up in June.
  • City want to renew Gündoğan.
  • PSG are considering a possible bid for Škriniar in January.
  • Arsenal are still keeping a close eye on Fresneda.

On the Gündoğan front, City's first offer was a one-year contract with a €12m net salary. They've since improved on that with their latest offer.

Decent youngster. Dont think he'll get as much gametime as Alvarez, but I think he'll get more than Kalvin Phillips... I expect hes there as a bench and occasional rotation option in midfield plus he's young and could improve a lot to the level where he's genuinely competing with their incredible CMs

Tier 1:

Everton want the ability to purchase Ziyech should they stay up. Ziyech's current salary with Chelsea is €6.5m/year.
