DON'T
  • Post a Tweet from a banned source (see below for the banned sources) unless they have held an interview with a player
  • Post a non-English Tweet without a basic translation. Suggested translators: Google Translate, DeepL, Reverso
  • Post anything from aggregator accounts (e.g. utdreport) without the original source.
    • Exception: an aggregator's Tweet is retweeted by the source. The Tweet must then be accompanied by a message/screenshot indicating this. Otherwise, the Tweet will not be allowed.
  • Post Tweets that Tweets that don't refer to a transfer story (example)
    • Post them in quotes/spoilers to avoid putting them into the feed
  • Post more than 3 Tweets per post. Otherwise, they will not show up in the Transfer Tweets feed.
  • Post anything that was tweeted more than three days ago. If it wasn't posted before then, nobody cares.
    • If you want to post an old Tweet as a reference, make sure to quote/spoiler it to avoid putting it into the feed.
  • Post off-topic comments or hold extended discussions over a single Tweet (that span multiple pages). Create a new thread instead.

Seriously, what the feck are they doing? Why the five year contract when the average manager barely lasts 2 years there? I'm sure Maresca would've set yes to a 3+1 type deal.

They've pulled this before with Potter and I believe they're still paying him off as a result.

Source (Tier 1):

Villarreal's bid for Jörgensen has worked out well for them

Wolves and Chelsea have sounded him out. NEWCASTLE have him as a cheaper option if they don't get Mamardashvili.

He is guaranteed until 2027 and has a clause of 40M [Euros]. The club trusts him.

Source (Tier 3):

  • OL have been speeding up their pursuit of Wilfred Ndidi for several days now
  • Les Gones are pushing to seal a deal for the Nigerian midfielder, who will be free of all contracts in June.

Official: 5 Newcastle players will become free agents in the summer, including, most notably, Dummett, Ritchie, Karius, and Hendrick

One thing you may also be noticing in some of Romano's Tweets is the interesting wording. This reads like it came from the player's agent rather than some more independent sources.

I don't get why the official social media accounts for both the outlet and journalist are so slow to report this. It's on their website, so I don't get why it won't be posted on their socials. Maybe they aren't keen on the social media traffic going to the aggregator accounts.
