edit/if I'm wrong blame Football Manager. It was great in previous games to have 2 homegrown twin fullbacks ripping up the league and Europe in Rafael and Fabio

I would point out that the majority on the Sanc are not surprised at the lack of activity. Frustrated? Yes. Surprised? Not in the slightest.
I remember everyone was buzzing when we signed Herrera and Shaw in the space of two days, everyone was joking saying 'Who will it be tomorrow' and I just kept thinking to myself that we'll have some waiting to do before another player comes in, and it might turn sour. I didn't anticipate that I'd actually become annoyed though.

Get in, Ronaldo and Di Maria, hope he visits the Barca dressing room too, and maybe, just maybe if we're lucky he can convince the managerial God that is Brenton to allow mortals such as Wenger, Mourinho and LVG to share some of his wisdom.
I can't imagine we'd spend so much money on someone who doesn't really want to be here. Unless it is some sort of investment where we improve him for a couple of years and sell him on to Barca for a fat profit.
