If anyone hears which park they're using for the game please post it. The official site just says "Northumberland FA". Wiki says Newcastle play reserves matches in Whitley Park, St. James Park, Gateshead International Stadium and Kingston Park.

Good to know, I'll try to keep it up.

Forgot Petrucci hasn't been playing as well, with Lingard and Brady on loan we'll probably see more of Thorpe and Ekangamene in midfield.

Qualifying in the top 3 of the group for the sake of getting into the better bracket for the U-21 competition is looking harder that I thought it would be at first. Hopefully we go on a little win streak.

United (from): Jonny Sutherland; Frederic Veseli, Scott Wootton, Michele Fornasier, Marnick Vermijl; Bebe, Tom Thorpe, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Adnan Januzaj, Larnell Cole; Federico Macheda; Tom Lawrence, Reece James, Kieran O'Hara, Charni Ekangamene, Luke Hendrie, Luke McCullough.

Here's the travelling squad. Love how Januzaj has been promoted to the U21.

Is Angelo injured, away on international duty or in the process of being loaned out then? Was really looking forward to seeing him.

Seems to be suggesting the team is:

Sutherland
Vermijl Wootton Fornasier Veseli
Thorpe Tunnicliffe
Januzaj Cole Bebe
Macheda

I'd love to see Cole get the chance to play as an attacking mid.

Commentary on English youth football lagging behind the actual coaching still, I see. 'Tactics don't matter at this level.' Imagine going to one of the German or Spanish academies and saying that.

I love watching Bebe, simply for the fact he's so unpredictable. Well, he always shoots so I guess that's not too unpredictable. The unpredictable bit is where his shots end up.

Paddy is such a comedian. I would love to hung out with him when he is drunk. Bet he is a riot.

Does anyone else ever think the U18s would probably beat the U21s? Yes there'd be a strength/pace deficit, but they regularly rip apart other U18 sides with much bigger, faster lads.
