Anyway - just curious - do people consider this a real trophy?
What I mean is, for example - when one considers the history of Man Utd. (or any other successful team as it matters) people don't really count the Charity Shield as a trophy or do they?
What about this 'Super Cup'? Isn't there a game between the top South American team and the winners of the Champions league.... is that a proper trophy too?
What about that thing Utd. played in some years ago and didn't play in the FA Cup that season due to fixture pile-up, whatever happened to that?
It is not a trophy that anyone would speak of in the same breath as the Champions League, just a nice way to start the season.
