Relax, think of this as the semi (to tie the record), so we’ll win. We’ll blow it in the next away game since it will be like a final
Record-breaking run
FT: Wolves 0-1 Man Utd
Manchester United are now unbeaten in their last 28 Premier League away games (W18 D10), establishing a new record for the longest unbeaten away run in English Football League history.

Why didn’t City or another team do it, or even close? Surely if its crowd related, City and their three elevens of rotatable players should have done it?It's an impressive record, but somehow not something that one can really get excited about. No crowds was probably a factor, but the main reason is that, unlike the Arsenal "invincibles" run, it hasn't culminated (or coincided) with any major honours.
The "Invincibles" run also saw them lose in 3 different cups. So that term always feels a little ludicrous to be honest. It's an impressive record, but somehow not something that one can really get excited about. Agreed. Hence the inverted commas. They did win the league, though. The "Invincibles" run also saw them lose in 3 different cups. So that term always feels a little ludicrous to be honest.
Even with no crowds it is not easy, just easier (and with no silverware to show for it, also a bit less special). City's away record was also slightly better than ours last season. Why didn’t City or another team do it, or even close? no one said it replaces trophies but still a very good habit to have…
