Lee O'Connor is the big hope I suppose. He's captained several Irish underage sides and some of the United ones too. It doesn't feel right watching United without a great Irish player in there. We've contributed some great players over the years.
Gregg, Dunne, Carey, Moran, McGrath, Irwin, O'Shea, Brennan, Keane, Whiteside, McIlroy, Whelan, Best, Stapleton all played huge parts in the history of the club.
It just goes to show how far Irish football has fallen over the last decade or so. Seamus Coleman maybe is the only player you might say could have come in and worn the jersey well after Neville retired.
