I suppose you have to say Van Nistelrooy...

One has to say our signings post 99 haven't been as inspired as before. Ruud is great value and so is Barthez (for me anyway), We payed 1.5 for Fortune and got not much more, we paid 4 for Silvestre and got pretty much that.

Veron and Taibi obviously haven't been value for money... I still have hopes for Seba ofcource.

Bartez and RVN. Goalkeepers are generally good value for the money. But, for a striker of RVN quality, his transfer fee semms like a bargain. Big flop = Veron so far.
