Actually Nostradamus
Nothing will be said about 115 getting away with the handball. The media will just continue to rim them.

As a former ref, I see many penalty situations that are understandably not given even though they look bad, particularily regarding hands. The rules have grey zones, there is the interpretation of intent, what is natural etc.Anyone know why that wasn't a handball?
Well we all know how the UAE employee hasn't seen it but the VAR guy needs sacking on the spot. How has the on field ref and the VAR ref together not seen that penalty?!?!
It surprised that I had to come here to see anything about it. All the press is just about Pep moaning over the busy schedule.Tweet

That's absolutely scandalous
Not even VAR related but what is he and the lino looking at that they've not seen it's a corner? Baffling, it wasn't just a tiny knick either. The mere fact that Chelsea didn't even get the corner surely indicates that Oliver has seen no contact, which would make his view of the situation a clear and obvious error.

The fact that there's an obvious movement of the arm towards the ball as the ball is about to go underneath his outstretched arm makes it a penalty. You think that’s handball? Pretty normal to jump with your arms out to the side, and then it’s kicked at him with power from short distance. Would hate to see that given against us.
no way, it's a full on week talking pointBBC:
"And Chelsea also feel they were victims of an injustice as they were infuriated that they were not awarded a second-half penalty when Cole Palmer's free-kick struck Jack Grealish's hand in the wall, only for the video assistant referee to rule no offence had taken place."
The Guardian:
"56 min: Grealish’s arm was by his side … but well away from his body. Opinions will vary, but you can file that under Seen Them Given. Also under Nobody Knows Anything. VAR says no … but Chelsea don’t even get the corner. Grealish has the good grace to look a little sheepish."
The Independent:
"Chelsea also saw appeals for a penalty waved away in the second-half when Cole Palmer’s free-kick struck Jack Grealish’s arm in the box, before Silva scored a late winner as City kept their FA Cup defence alive."

Imagine that decision going our way or anyone else but the team that bribes the media, you think the reports would look that way?
In a defensive wall at a free kick, players don't often jump with their arms outstretched like Christ the redeemer, they cover their balls, face or have them behind their backs. You think that’s handball? Pretty normal to jump with your arms out to the side, and then it’s kicked at him with power from short distance. Would hate to see that given against us.
Or his arm just drops as it would when you’re on your way down again after jumping. It’s hardly an obvious movement towards the ball. You’ve seen them given. I think it would have been a cheap goal. The fact that there's an obvious movement of the arm towards the ball as the ball is about to go underneath his outstretched arm makes it a penalty.

It wasn’t clear to me in real time, so I will have sympathy with the ref there.Tweet

From that angle it looks a penalty. It’s kicked at him from (surprise surprise) ten yards away.
His right arm doesn’t move, his left arm clearly comes down when looks like ball might sneak past him.
I have no positive feelings towards Chelsea but it’s 100% a penalty. As clear as day.

It does, because it was. From that angle it looks a penalty.
Is there a name for this knot you're twisting yourself into?Or his arm just drops as it would when you’re on your way down again after jumping. It’s hardly an obvious movement towards the ball. You’ve seen them given. I think it would have been a cheap goal.
VAR probably bottled it because they would have had to give a red card as wellIt does, because it was.
Ill try not to choke on these words but I’ll give Oliver (the useless cheating w@nker) the benefit of the doubt but not VAR.
He gives a goal kick so it’s by definition an error, then it hits the arm so they HAVE TO call him to the screen and let him make a decision with all the info.
Oliver could've sent off Caicedo for this handball by Grealish and Dermott would justify it easily.I cant see what excuse's Dermott comes up with to justify that handball not resulting in a penalty.
"Jack is a lovely lad. You can't give that."I cant see what excuse's Dermott comes up with to justify that handball not resulting in a penalty.
Walker did same to Rashford in the derby. He's very good at the subtle tactical foul when opponent is running at full pace. The handball was bad, but I thought Walker on Jackson was a stonewall pen too. It's not shoulder to shoulder, it's shoulder in the back effectively pushing him over. Can't see how it wasn't given.
