He's just upset that they were expected to go out and score 8 today, when the reality is they couldn't even score past a 35 year old Championship reject in Jonny Evans. Sounds like a them problem.

The arrogance

Is he ignoring the fact Onana actually had the ball in play and is allowed to hold onto the ball and pass from the back?

It was refreshing to hear him called-out on his arrogance and petulance on Sky, though only really Roy was prepared to acknowledge it.

Also, we saw Alisson walking with the ball at his feet for several seconds at a time (which he's entitled to do), so why wasn't Van Dijk raging at him for that? Such a weirdo.

Nice to see Keane's passion for us. VvD has a trophy cabinet that many in the game would love to have but his arrogance is really disproportionate. There was another bloke on the pitch today whose career dwarves his and you'd never get the same air of arrogance from Varane. The dude has 2 major trophies in his entire career playing for a club that has as many league titles as Leicester and yet there has always been something about his demeanor. God help us if he has a trophy cabinet of the true greats in the game.

What a weird interview. I don't remember the likes of Rio coming out with garbage like that if we played poorly and couldn't break a defence down, and Rio had a bit more than "can try to win things if city can't be bothered enough" to his name

Klopp is the same every time they can't beat us as well. They've got this weird chip on their shoulder about needing everyone to know United aren't about to suddenly usurp them to dominance. Which is extra weird when no one ever implied that is going to happen and they aren't champions of anything at all and finished 5th last season anyway.

It's all the sort of stuff Klopp has whinged about in the past, this mentality has come straight from him. Apparently if you don't go against Liverpool and try to play the exact way that lends itself to Liverpool's strengths, then you're shitting all over the spirit of the game.

Thoroughly convinced they thought they were going to win easily and his reaction is that of a player who was complacent going into the game. They can blame poor finishing and blame Utd for not trying to win. But the real truth is they just expect teams to setup in a way that lets them play to their strengths and whinge when they don't. They play shite long ball football and that's their biggest problem and it only works if teams push up and give them the space to lump it over the top to chase it down.

Players who moan about the way the other team set up have always been weird to me. Statements like these, or what Xavi used to come out with (Even though he was still one of my favorite players) are so weird.

Rodri another one who’s always bitching about it every time Spain or Man City lose. Up to them to beat the tactic.

who do you feckin think ?
He is a bit of a tit. He really makes himself look silly with this kind of talk with a guy like Varane sharing the same pitch today. Heck even Johnny Evans has more titles. Maybe he is just having a hard time facing up to his own decline.

I get it it’s frustrating when we’re on the receiving end of results like this where we hammer a team with 10 men and don’t take out chances, dropping points in the process.
But do our players/ manager ever come out with this shit post match? “Only one team came to PlAy FoOtBaLl”
feck off

The issue is they didn’t even have many clear chances. Infact the best two chances were arguably the Hojlund and Garnacho ones when we cut them to ribbons.

United were pretty comfortable.

Virgil was once immense but is now a decent but hardly special CB. Still, props to the nan for once being immense.

feck Van Dijk for the arrogance in this match but those shitting on his ability or based on one season haven’t been paying attention much, he has been the best defender in the league this season and back in form.

Him and Trent are the best examples of recency bias in modern football. Both good players yes. But the way the media hype them both up has clearly gone their heads. VVD thinks he is prime Nesta. This hissy fit is clearly showing arrogance Keane was right to point it out. He has had a few good seasons but thats it. Not even top 5 all time premier league defenders let alone all time like some people in the media make out he is.
