The Manchester United way is dead. The best representation of this is how we've gone from the masters of scoring late goals to the masters of conceding them. We've gone from the most talented players in the league working as hard as the scrubs to even trash players not feeling like they need to give 100%

Yes the manager and ownership deserve plenty of blame however it all comes down to the players in the locker room. Do you want to be the best? Do you want to win? Do you want to improve and work hard? These are questions most of our players fail at miserably.

Buying Casemiro and Varane was an attempt to remedy that but unfortunately they are both past it. We need to attempt to do the same this summer. Bring in two top class pros who have that right attitude. That youngsters like Kobbie and Garnacho can look up to and learn from. We have a decent pipeline of youth, the problem is our experienced players are letting us down.

This is what Arsenal did with Jorginho and the city boys, to help them gain belief. It will be really tough because those players will be in high demand but I think every United fan accepts, we're going nowhere with this lot.

The club needs structure, from the top down, which is what INEOS are trying to do.

And players look poor in poor systems and when they can't do what's being asked of them, or don't understand what they're being asked to do. IN my view a batter manager get's more out of this squad.

Recruitment needs to be better, but that hopefully comes with the changes INEOS want to make.
