I'm kind of obsessed with this track (and the album). She's a classical composer with obvious Glass and Reich influences but also electronic and indie too.

Mick Hucknall used to sign on the same as me and we sometimes walked together. James lived in the crescents, too. Martin from 808 State from Eastern Bloc record shop.. I was on a TV show with Terry Christian and used to go there with Johnny Marr on the 263 from Sale (he lived in Timperley). I'm pretty sure The Chameleons used to come to Legends on Thursday nights sometimes.
